Got a bit of snow from winter storm Riley. We're 250 miles away from the Atlantic coast.

These pics are this morning after cleaning up twice yesterday and going back inside around 5 pm.

 

The yardstick is at 11 inches.  There is also a white Impala parked behind the truck.

My 99 looked just like that.  In fact I thought it was a 2019 model when I looked out the window this morning.

We lost power around 2pm yesterday, not expected to be restored until 11pm on 3/5/2018...

We didn't get much precipitation though...

Glad I have a wood stove and generator...

We got lucky. Lost power for about 2 hrs.  I hope they beat that estimate.

It's amazing how much it can vary. The office I work at is near the coast and it was just heavy rain and winds. But places right on the coast got absolutely swamped with storm surge.

Yeah, I'll stick with the snow. Really don't want to paddle my rusty butt to high ground.

Her brother lives near Syracuse and they had a foot of snow.. Meanwhile in NE Georgia we were sitting on the porch in 72F.. He sent pictures and so did we...

We went wheelin last night. Perfect conditions! 3 ft in some spots. Lots of big holes in the tore up detour around a landslide. Lot of fun!!

Yup, looking at 10-18 inches here by time all is said and done. Likely use the Wifes new Nissan Maxima and leave the truck behind.....even in 4WD, the Max is better.....the tires on this truck absolutely suck, and being a lease, not in a rush to replace them
