2016 Silverado Center Console?

Folks, I joined this forum to learn about the Silverado, looking for a 2016 soon (save $$ on used) and I was wondering if all trim models have the fold down bench seat center console in the front vs. bucket seats with a deep center console (which I’d prefer).  So far it looks like the Crew Cab Trim level is for me.  Hopefully with 5.3 and longer bed.

 

Looked at F150 but way too confusing variety of trim and options to wrap head around.  I currently have a 2002 Tahoe (original owner) I use to tow 6,000 lb boat occasionally in summer but it’s rusting a bit and already replaced tranny at 110K miles.

 

Also, what are the best options for bed cover, not sure I am thrilled with the cloth covers with Velcro I see.

I prefer the true bucket seats with the full floor console. They can be difficult to find without a loaded up truck with leather. I bought mine new and have a LT with all star package, heated cloth seats with the full console and love it.

The seats are the same with both configurations.   The floor console is a popular option but there is ample storage in the flip down centre and it also provides you the flexibility to carry an extra passenger. All available engines will tow your boat.  You can't find a bad combination, imo.  Enjoy the search!

Some of the LT trucks have a full console. i've seen them with leather and cloth. but they are tough to find. my advice is take a look at new 18's as well. the pricing on used trucks around me haven't come down at all, and the new LT's are selling for $33-36k with rebates.

I just saw a video on YouTube that showed 2018 1500 with a storage compartment below the fold down bench seat center console. I went and looked and my 2016 3500HD only has a seat cushion, no hinged cushion with a storage compartment below. Anybody know if the storage seat base is available for retrofit? Part number would be helpful.
