I don't blame you!  The dealer I bought my truck from had one w/ the plastic bristles, and of course I got free truck washes for life.  Thanks no thanks.  Been going to another one closer to our home since we moved, and this one is much better.

I have a 15 Sierra I got the recall.

Whole process, including checking in and the wash was just under 30 minutes.  Quick update.
