Hi guys has anyone dug into the radio to see if it is possible to add a front camera to the system?

Thanks for any help

I know the Chevy camaro has the option to do it with some programming I would think the system would have something especially with the over view feature

I'm guessing this doesn't work with the T1s....  the 2019 inclusion there is for the Limited...  note it needs IO5 or IO6 radio....

I like how the linked one for the last gens has an option to automatically turn on the front camera when your going under 10mph. That's handy as heck.

Bump

I do have a local shop that will install for $1400. To me that is a little too much. I am willing to spend $1000 for a factory install or $600 for a none factory install( still needs to use factory screen).

Sorry i know its not the t1 style, I would still speak with mvi. Im sure they are working on it. Mvi keeps every retrofit oem.

search ebay for the kits. Bill craigem is a good one, email see what they have.

i would imagine ecomaster would make kits that are plug and play For the newer style.

go to a gm parts website and look through it, probably list the module harness camera in diagrams. Then find part #’s and start ordering parts.

I have a 2019 High Country that did come with all the cameras but the front one. I am having my local dealer install it. They said it was a plug and play. Just needed to have the infotainment system programmed. It is VERY pricy but I wanted it. Just FYI. It can be done.
