Lower Door Sill Protection?

Does anyone have any recommendations/links for lower door sill protection? Not sure of the proper name.

 

As my daughter gets in and out of the back with her little legs, sometimes she catches the painted part without protection. I was thinking maybe a 3M film or something, but I have not see anything cut for it.

See above thread. I purchased 4” wide 3m film and did myself. It covered from bottom of sill right before textured paint to top sill just below weather stripping.

I put on myself with help of soapy water and worked it over the stair step bends in metal. I have an air bubble or two but over all has held up great and protects the paint underneath.

If you find something for outside textured anti chip area, let me know. This gets scratched as well by people sliding their heal when exiting. (especially dealer service appts).

3M or XPEL will do the job and it’s a pretty straight forward DIY easy piece to apply to that area.
Filming an entire front end? not so easy and best left to a professional.

Thanks guys. I have put on door edge films and bumper appliques so I feel good about the install. Looks like I will order some standard stuff and put it on.

I just ordered these for my truck.  Sometimes my wife's heels scuff up the sills.  They are kind of spendy but look nice.
