Thanks for update.  I held off on a 2” level kit front and back wanting a 4”.  The 6” is available now but not the 4”.  What size lift is rough country saying they are about to get done. 4” ?

Update.  I believe the guys I am working with locally are using pro comp lifts

What size lift are you looking at? You need a level on a non Trailboss to run 33x12s with 0 mm offset.  You need a 4 inch lift to run 35x12s with 0 mm offset.  If you want to run 35x12s with any negative offset such as -22 or -44, you will need at least a 6 inch lift

I was thinking 3" front and 1.5" back with 295 or 305  tires and don't know if 18 or 20" wheels?   I want to look good but do not want to sacrifice anything on ride.   Somebody said on this thread that rough country already did a lift for ARC for them but they told me it wasn"t ready yet?   Also has anybody done Flowmaster or Borla exhaust on the 2019 6.2 yet?

Jason - I have the same desire as you.  I want to keep all the comfort and quality I paid for with the 2019 ride while at the same time giving it a much needed lift without going too high.  

 

To everyone: What lift kit brand does everyone prefer.  I live in GA and the guys at the local shop I think are wanting to do Pro Comp.  I am not familiar with a lot of brands.  One of the guys there told me they would need to lift the back and front because the truck was already level but I do not believe that was correct as you all have confirmed and someone else at the shop that does design work said the front needed to come up more.  

 

I have been told that 6" lifts are officially tested and approved for this truck AND level kits are good too but that 4" lifts are still being designed.  I am assuming this is from Pro Comp but not sure.  I have called several suppliers but all of them seem to be not ready.  

 

My guess is that anyone getting a lift other than 6" is likely getting something that is custom made on the spot or a work around with current parts.  I am want to make sure whatever I put on the truck keeps everything working like stock.

 

Any thoughts on directions I should head or recommendations, would be appreciated.

Found out that Fabtech has a 3.5” lift for Denali w/ ARC.   Anybody used it?


Hmmm.. Doesn’t look to promising at this point in time. I think I’m going to do the suspension max from 16-18. It has the bracket for the sensors and level it out. I’m researching the difference between magna and ARC.. I read where someone used a Rough Country and no problems[emoji3166]

I have had no problems with the Rough Country 2" front level kit. I recommend it 100%. I'm running a 305-50/20 tire. 0 offset wheels... We did have to trim inside the wheelwell, and cut the front mudflap for turn clearance...

Im looking for a lift kit, or leveling kit as well. I appreciate all the info available here. Can anyone posts more pics of theirs after install?

The difference between the Denali and Chevrolet suspension is the ARC component.  2019 Denali requires an extension of the rod which is approximately 3/4 of an inch for a front level kit.  Rough country has them now and you can see them online.  You will have to do the same to the rear (extension) should you want to lift it also.  Other option is to replace the shocks.  These are not electronic “magnaride” but fully mechanical and controlled by the rod based on suspension travel.  You can measure the rod in stock state and then with the lift added.  The difference is the additional length you will need to make a bracket for,  to add to the rod length.  I did this on mine and just ordered the Chevrolet leveling kit.  The GMC was almost twice the price for the two, approximately 3/4 inch extensions, two lock nuts and two bolts.

We added the wedge below the shock at the bottom where it mounts to the arm and added a 1” block between the leaf spring and axle. If has changed my ride I can’t tell it.

It will change the ride.  While I am not sure if it places it in a firmer or softer position, changing the length of the rod will change the damping characteristics of the shock.  It stands to reason that the more the suspension compresses, the firmer the damping would become so as to make the shock progressively stiffer.  Without it damping would remain in a linear state, unless valuing in the shock is designed to change based on travel on its own (which there wouldn’t be a need for the rod then.).  That is how the Denali system is designed to work.  If there is no increase in your arm length, you will be riding in a deeper portion of the damping, and despite “not feeling it” it should be stiffer.  It may be subtle enough that the change is not detectable except under certain circumstances.

Let’s just say I haven’t noticed a difference. Very seldom do I dial it from Touring to Sport. It never goes off road and don’t  have any intentions of taking it off road. Never going to pull anything so have no reason to put it in Tow Haul unless I want it quicker off the line and with the Pedal Commander it’s pretty damn quick. Hoping someone will come out with a programmer soon so that I can adjust the top end limiter.
