How early has anyone been able to get out if they’re lease and into a new gmc?

I am right at a year left on my current lease

Thanks

I was two years into a four year lease.

It totally depends on your payout and what truck has for features.

Mine was a loaded SLT All-Terrain with only 29,000 kms on it, so they could flip it easily.

I’m thinking my only option would be for gm to allow me upgrade lease early and not try to have dealer trade it in because there are a lot of 18s they are trying to blow out currently

I'd give the dealer a call. But ask to speak with the Sales Manager and see what they can do for you. Mine was a '17 that I leased, but I purchased my '19 AT4..

Agreed the the poster above as it will all come down to what you owe/what truck is worth. I would hit up a few different dealers , tell them what you have and what you want and the price you want it at.  I still think a year is too early but it can’t hurt to ask especially this last week of year. Low ball the mofos.

I’ve leased a few vehicles, and historically I get a call 6 months before the end of the lease to come in and trade up. I’d imagine if your current lease is under your miles and in good shape, someone will work with you.

I'm about a year out on my lease as well.  I'm going to be patient and see if the prices don't relax a little in the next few months when the 18's are finally gone. GM is currently very proud of these 19's.  If they don't come down, I may have to look at other brands.  Hoping for the best.

I was told by the GM at the dealer I bought mine from, that the interest rates for financing and leasing will drop way down, before there are huge deals on the price itself.

I'm in Canada though, so that might be a different case compared to the States.
