So I have a 2014 GMC Sierra and I'm looking to upgrade the lights. I already put in led headlights and I'm looking for reverse lights. Has anyone does this? The stock ones are very dim and I see morimoto makes some.

I really like the JDM ASTAR LED products. Bright, and I have never had a quality or burn out problem with them. However, my 18 Silverado is the first truck where just replacing the two reverse lights is just not quite bright enough. Not sure why, but might just be my darker tinting. But I am considering adding bumper mounted lights or something else to help out.

I was hoping to add a little more light than stock in hopes of not having to add bumper lights

I went with these, very bright, still kind of hard to see at night. Sylvania 921 LED.

I use only vled bulbs in my vehicles. Personal preference.

I just got a promo email from them if you want to use a discount code. Vleds.com

Discount code NY10 gets 10% off any order. Code NY20 gets 20% off orders over $200.

I have have their high output reverse bulbs in my 16. My tails are tinted but I still get a lot of output. I can only imagine what they would be like without tint. Although I did have them in my 2015 ram 2500 and the output was amazing. Not sure how the reflector design differs from the Chevy.

They also have have a little led bar that mounts  at the top of the license plate. Almost like the top rail of a license plate frame. Wouldn’t know it is there but is super, super bright. You would just wire in to the back of your trailer plugs or any other place you wanted to grab signal. And no cutting holes in your bumper.

What headlights did you go with ? Are you happy with them?

I did Diode Dynamics for all my rear lights when I did my factory LED taillight upgrade. Used them before in other vehicles and will continue to use them. Fast shipping, well made, US company, 3 year no BS warranty, different lumens/color options with most bulbs, install videos, ect.

I forget the name, I only upgraded the bulbs to led not the while housing. The bulbs helped but still the stock projectors suck...
