There is a good amount of room. There is a removable tray. Underneath the tray there is a sectioned off area where it arcs up near the wheel and a much larger open space opposite of that. The one thing I would be worried about is weight. They're not crappy material or anything but I wouldn't call them heavy duty either. Not sure what the manufacturer rates them for.

I emptied one out and took some pics with a tape measure.

Awesome thank you. It seems like it covers the LED bed light. Have you noticed this or had any inconveniences from it?

Not really. My old truck never had them so I've never really relied on them. Plus there is the cab mounted overhead light too if I need it. And I can always "swing" the case to the side and uncover the light if need be.

The passenger side case covers my 110 outlet but, again, just swing the case over and I can easily access it.

One thing to note with these swingcases .. if you’re gonna run a tonneau make sure it works with the swingcase installed. I have a tri-fold cover and I just have to swing the box out to latch and unlatch the cover. The latch on the swingcase can get seized up rather easily so just grab the PB Blaster every now to keep it easy on yourself unlatching and swinging it out.

I have a Retrax bed cover and have had zero issues with regard to the swing cases.

Thanks for the tip on the latches...think I'll spray mine down today with lithium grease as a form of preventative maintenance.

I want one of these cases but the website says without multipro tailgate. I have the multipro tailgate. How does the tailgate make this box unusable?

i had em on my 2015...my reviews are mixed. i always had to open my cover a a little to full open the lid on the swing case. the cases locked but only way to lock them to the truck was a traditional keyed lock, whicj meant that had to be unlocked and relocked every time i wanted to swing the case open. they blocked some of the emitting bed light and on the 2019 looks like it will block the lights completely. with that beeing said they were a great option to keep items like hitch, tow ropes, straps, tie downs, etc. easy to access, able to have with a tonneau cover and didnt take up alot up bed space

As shown in the photo is is accessible only with the case in open position, the case cannot be closed with the AC outlet flip cover open and a regular AC cord (or transformer plugged in. Only option is to remove the waterproof flip cover on the outlet and use an extension cord with a zero clearance plug intended for when you want to use a wall outlet behind a piece of furniture directly against the wall. Also units are supposed to come with an external lock that fits into a pip on the bracket rather than through the previous padlock slot.

Makes more sense just to use the driver's case since each intrude into the floorspace and teo will not only block all lighting, but limit width of bed. '20 install same as '19

Just installed a drivers side one on my '19.....blocks the bed light almost entirely. Won't even bother on the passenger side because it will prevent use of the 110v outlet rendering it useless for my purpose. The case will not latch with the waterproof door flipped open or with an accessory like a 12v transformer of line cord plugged in. Example for use charging a jumper battery or drill/saw battery recharger while the vehicle is moving or in my case a 12v transformer powering the LED lights on the sports bar using the lighted dash switch. Of course you can remove it, but then your better off using a milk crate, which by the way holds a lot more junk than the Swingcase......and without the chance of overloading the weight and cracking the case.....both cases in my '16 cracked like a mozaic and they had nowhere near the 75 lb limit loaded in each. Better pack them tight because if something heavy like a trailer hitch is loose in one it will act like a hammer on the plastic case each time you hit a rut or pothole/gopher hole.
