Extending bumper to bumper warranty..

I regretfully bought an extended warranty from my dealer, even knowing what was all excluded. I wish I put that $2,000 in my bank account instead.

Of course it don't cover wear and tear but it does cover major components, power train, and electrical. I read the fine print before I payed 3 grand extra for it.

I also got the surface protection plan that covers all door dings and dents up to 6" in diameter. Hail included. $625 . No deductible.

I didn't get the stupid wax job or whatever you call it for $399 though. I'll wax them myself.

Does anyone know if it covers injectors and coil packs? A friend has a 2016 silverado 5.3 that was past the bumper to bumper by miles but still had the powertrain warranty and he had to pay for all the work on a misfire since the said it was injectors and coil packs. They replaced 3 injectors and 3 coil packs and charged him $1800 bucks since injectors and coil packs aren't part of the powertrain.

What you spend on the warranty, you will lose in resale value. Trade the truck in now and get $5,000-$8,000 more than you will in 2021, or pay $2,000 for the warranty and keep the truck for 2 more years and lose that additional kick at trade time.

the 72mo/48k/0ded for 1595

I love this truck and plan to keep it a long time.  I drove the 2019s and am not impressed.  I also don't buy first year models.  The  2018 is the same as my 2016
