I installed the elite engineering can I removed from my 2015 5.3 onto my 2019 5.3. I didn't want to mount it on the firewall because I'm short and don't really want to unbolt the can to be able to empty and clean it. So I just set it in a little gap next to the air filter box. Not elegant but it's a snug fit and doesn't move around and super easy to lift up and take apart. I've since removed it because I keep taking my truck in to have a vibration diagnosed.

This photo is after about 1000 miles. Not a lot but I mostly like having a can installed because it keeps the throttle body and intake clean.

Here's some photos from the install. The hose connections are in slightly different locations from the previous gen 5.3 but still close and easy to find the PVC hose that you pull out.

I have the UPR one on my 2019 6.2 and was easy to install. I’ll try and get some photos tomorrow and post.

Looks like UPR just updated their website. Unfortunately it doesn't look like they offer anything for the 2019 5.3? I wonder what is so different about the 6.2 and 5.3 hook ups for a catch can?

I have the 5.3 and purchased the JLT catch can. Installation was easy and it is collecting oil as designed. The price was really nice! $149 and free shipping

UPR makes one specifically for the 19-20 5.3 now. I ordered one today.

I don't know too much about engines but I am interested in doing this install. Can you advise me on the advantages of the UPR vs the JLT version? I see the that the JLT one is much smaller. Does that matter? Also, is it worth it to pay the extra $150 for the UPR dual valve version vs the single valve one?

About $50 more than the JLT. The UPR looks to have more storage capacity and the hoses look more factory too. On mine the hoses are a little too long but I'm sure they would be easy to shorten. I will probably shorten the hoses when I do an air intake kit. The factory air box hide the hoses now.

I'm no expert but the dual set up seems a little excessive for stock use engine. I would stay away from systems that put the recovered oil back into the engine.
