They make a big difference.  Had some bullet leds in first, 50 lumens, and they weren't worth the effort.  These are 500 lumens and were worth the effort.

How did you wire them up? Do they pull too much that relay is needed and extra power or did you tap the reverse?

 

Also, how was install?

I just tapped the cargo lights without a relay. Install is super easy. I just drilled a hole for the bolt to go thru the light and a smaller one towards the top of the step for the wires to pass thru

Could you post a picture of what the view looking back looks like with and without them on with the reverse lights? I know they're hardwired in, but maybe use a cardboard box to block them?

Forgot to quote you with my other message I just posted but my cyclone lights are toggled by the cargo light switch so when I get the truck back out later this week I'll do reverse with and without the cyclones on.

I tapped my backup lights, no relay.


Where'd you tap into them? Is there a wire that runs down the driver or passenger side?
