Looked like the wheels he was fitting were not hub centric anyway. Have noticed many aftermarket ones are not while a few are

I am still confused on spacers, if they are good or bad.  would hate to add spacers just to get a wheel to fit to find out it puts more wear and tear on the truck or they are not safe to use.  Seems its 50/50 on the internet whether they are a good idea or not.

They are not bad if you have hub centric ones and if the studs are the proper length.  If you try to slide a spacer over the existing studs, you need longer studs or you would need the type that bolt to the OEM studs and have their own studs on the spacer.  If you can avoid them, that would be the best route but sometimes you cant depending on the wheel.  Also keep in mind the further you push out the wheels via spacers the more likely they will rub when turning, especially with larger tires

well, I learned that Custom Offsets warehouse is 30 minutes from me in Appleton, WI!

The Custom Offset website gallery is great. I've used it many times to determine what will fit, what will rub and what wont fit at all. Its basically people that have installed all types of wheels providing feedback...You can select lift size, wheel size, wheel width, tire size, etc, etc...
