This might not be related to 2.7, but i think a lot of Custom trims are in here.

How do I determine what fluid to use in my front and rear diffs? Also transfer case?

I know there are several different axles and a few different transfer cases now, the owners manual says "see dealer" but I am not about to take my truck there.

I am coming up on 50k miles and want to replace the diff fluid and transfer case fluid.

Easy Peasy : https://www.amsoil.com/lookup/auto-and-light-truck/2022/chevrolet/silverado-1500-ltd/2-7l-4-cyl-engine-code-k-l3b-k-turbo/?volume=us-volume

Right but how do I determine if I have the rear 8.6 rg, vs 9.5 vs 9.76?

Doesn’t matter. Same SVG Amsoil used in all of them. You could look up the build list but your trail boss is equipped from factory same as rest of trail boss builds for driveline.

This looks like the first real good tuner for the 2.7L. I’ve talked to the customer service guys and I’m going to order it, I’ll keep this post updated.

the elephant in the room for me is the stock dyno on that 2022 refresh custom showing only 7 more ft/lbs torque than the hp at the wheels, 255 hp and 262 ft/lbs torque (rated 310/430 at crank), which would suggest even less torque than the gen 1 tune....when the torque should be 100+ ft/lbs more than the hp number...do we need to put some trucks on dyno's and start figuring out if class action required due to false advertising is required? like how did it get a 430 ft/lb rating to advertise with?

It’s a first gen 2.7 - so essentially with Map 2 the first gen would make the factory numbers at the wheels.

I’ll probably never dyno it but I’m anxious to see how it feels during regular driving.

the image they show of a truck on the dyno is a 2022 refresh custom, the curve they provide for the 2023+ chev turbo is what I'm talking about, what am I missing? where's the refresh dyno result?

I’m confused.  The dyno sheet says 2021_silverado_baseline

Lol me too, I hope there’s satisfactory answers. I’ll see about contacting them next week for clarity. Nothing like showing a 430 ft/lb truck with the wrong dyno chart below it.

I guess I didn’t think much of it lol. I have the 1st gen so I would be happy with those dyno numbers at the wheels haha.

Well ya, and then claim the same gains for the 2023+ versions? Like you’re going to add another 100 ft/lbs over the high output? Would that be realistic? Anyway, we should seek clarity. Totally agree with 1st Gen getting to those numbers. I’d do same. Now just need to clarify what the high output base dyno is and what the gains are for those, because according to their pics they have a high output there on the dyno.

I 100% agree with you. Why don’t you email them. They responded to me real quick and were really nice. If it’s a different email then at least it looks like more interest in the 2.7L which hopefully will equal more R&D on tunes etc. for it
