Z71 emblem in RST grill

Since the grill on the RST is the same as the Trail Boss, I would imagine it’s a simple one?

 

I like the addition of the Z71 in the grill. Thinking of adding this and then getting rid of the Z71 badges on my RST front upper fenders.

FYI, I am finally going to pull the trigger on buying and installing this on my RST. 

 

There's an actual 2019 part out for this now. A little more $, but looks like it will fit just right:

I'm interested in the results. I came across the same part in my search, because I noticed the design difference and I want the right one. I haven't pulled the trigger yet though, I have a couple other purchases that need to come first. But if it works out, it will definitely be on my list.

That's pretty pricey for an emblem, but I'm curious to see it when it's done.  I'm not too fond of the badges on the fenders.  If on the side of the truck, I feel like it would be better on the bed or something like they used to be.

Yeah, it really is pricey. But I love how it looks on the Trail Boss. Wish ALL the Z71 package trucks came with the emblem, like they did in the K2s. 

 

I agree on the Z71 on the front, upper fender. I have considered removing mine, but I haven't yet. I would rather have the new 4x4 sticker on the rear bed panel. I think it looks sharp, as does the "Trail Boss" sticker.

I added the Z71 grill emblem to my LT.  

 

I went with the $60 from shopchevyparts.com.  

 

Removed the radiator cover clips, then removed the hood release handle bolts.  Popped off radiator cover and then started popping off the front grill.  

 

I left the bottom clips attached and just pulled the grill forward a bit.  I also did my illuminating emblem at the same time.  

 

Not sure if the RST and LT are different but I found some vids on YouTube on how to remove the grill.  Was pretty easy.

Thanks!  And you're welcome.  I had to add the 4x4 sticker too as it did not come on the truck.  I basically bought the truck for the sticker so had to get it lol.

Also added the chrome lettering on the tailgate.  I feel like all these little add-ons go together.  Sorry for spamming this thread lol.

Thanks! a lot of people don't like chrome and I thought I was one of them.  Turns out I love it!  I don't think I could go through with blacking the chrome out and losing the sweet sweet shine it has.

Where did you get these? 

I see them on Amazon and Ebay. But, are they the same quality as from GM?

I ask because yours look perfect.
