2015 2500 HD Air Conditioning problem

I've got a 2015 2500HD Duramax that the air conditioning isn't working on. The compressor will kick on for a second or 2 and then off for 5-10 seconds. I did manage to get it to stay engaged one time and the air blew ice cold. Any suggestions? It has the automatic climate controls but it won't work no matter how they're set.

This is what the gauges look like. Why is the low side zero?

No pressure on the system I think. I know when I replaced my condensor I pulled a vacuum on the system to help recharge it and got the gauge on the left of the vacuum pump to -30. Then with the gauge that comes on the freon can I took it to 35psi. Maybe use one of the gauges that comes on those canisters to see for sure

This is the pressures this morning with the compressor off. I wonder if my low side gauge wasn't hooked up right. It short cycles with the a/c commanded to come on. 1-2 seconds on. 10 or so off.

Just discovered the belt to the AC Compressor was broken yesterday while attempting to change a fog light bulb.  I'm assuming by the condition of the belt, the compressor has locked up!?! The truck is a 2015 with less than 50,000 miles...

The 2014 1500 had an issue with them going out (mine did at 60k) but gm fixes it later on but can’t retrofit the fix...may have been 2016 when it design was fixed by factory? I would look on the 1500 forum for a/c issues as it is very common. I was pissed as it went out in the summer and supposedly the compressors were on backorder.

What did the repair cost? with all the issues I'm seeing with ACs I can't believe GM/Chevy isn't making this right with consumers.  I even saw where the warranty was extended for SUVs. (Tahoe, Suburban, Escalade) to 5 years, 60,000miles.  The SUVs and trucks are the "same vehicle"; how can you cover one and not the other.  Ours goes to the dealership next week to be looked at, I am not looking forward to the repair bill..

We have a 2015 2500 6.0 WT truck here at work that the ac compressor blew up and sent metal throughout the ac system and everything had to be replaced. I think it had somewhere in the 30k-40k mileage range then. Seems like I've read about that a few other times too. Crossing my fingers on my persona 2015.
