Looks sharp. How long did it take you to bust that out?

Thanks!

I still have a little left to do, but what you see took about an hour I guess.  I experimented a bit to figure out the best way  which added some time.

You should not of shown me this lol. How hard is it to wipe the extra ink off?

I can tell you there were some butt pucker moments ha!

Here’s what I discovered...

you can see in the one picture of the upper dash how I drew it on there pretty heavily. Then I waited about 20 seconds and wiped most of it off with a dry paper towel. This left a little dried red on the leather. I found the best thing to do then was to use my bare fingers. I guess  the oils in my hand and the friction was the perfect combination to remove the excess and polish it off. Then I used a leather conditioner wipe and a microfiber towel to finish it off.

I can tell you the dash panels and upper door panels were the hardest to get right. The armrests and console were easy- I guess the padding behind the material helped it to wipe off.

Looks good. You’re very brave attempting that. Don’t think I would have the guts!

Thanks man!  I tested the back of the rear headrests first. Red sharpie was first try but it looked kind of maroon in color- but it is what it is. Can’t see it with the headrest against the window.

I did sit In the front seat about 10 minutes before saying f it. :)

I really like the way this looks. Bravo to you for having the courage to try this. One of my very first thoughts when I was looking at the AT4’s was “I wish they had red stitching and accents instead of the brown, to match the red tow hooks”.  Well done.
