You need to weed through some of the misinformation on sites by doing research and checking multiple threads. The spacers won't change the ride, all it does change is the stop points for the suspension travel over big transitions causing it to bottom out easier. It doesn't change spring rates, has no impact on shock tuning. Most people who say it rides rougher many of times is because they also upgrade tires (that is a big reason they add the level to go bigger) which many of times is an LT E-rated tire which will ride rougher. If you want to stay on the better ride side stick with a p-rated tire when you change tires. 

 

Being a 2014 and depending on the miles and if you have stock shocks the bilsteins are a upgrade to worn tires, I just did that myself after 60k. It will ride rougher but take the larger bumps better. 

 

If the truck is just going to stay on the street then a spacer will be fine at a much cheaper price and not to mention much easier to install than changing shocks. All depends what you are going after. If the stock ride is satisfactory the spacer is an easy add that will get the look you are after. Can't go wrong either way. Good luck.

Go with coil overs from CST or KING, giving you the height you’re looking for with excellent ride quality. Bilstein and block spacers are not a comfortable option but will give you the height with crappy ride quality when compared to Coil Overs.
