Blue screen of death

Anyone had this happen with their rear camera system?  My review mirror camera still worked fine.

Yup, rear view camera is a different camera. The dealer did a software update on mine and it never happened again.

Dropped the truck off today to get this and the brake pad issue looked at. The rear camera module needs to be replaced and they didn’t have a fix yet for the brake pad % issue. Or so they claim.

At least your dealer knew what you were talking about.  My guy just looked at me with the craziest look.  Didn't even realize there were % life readings at all.

guys, this is the update they used on mine to solve the break pad issue , well for now it has been two weeks and I am a 99%.

 this update was for my service ABS issue an dealer said it's the same update for break pad life issue .

 issue no#3 is related to issue #1

Does anyone have access to the GM database of bulletins to get an official printout of #PIT5638C ?

 

Curious if most people with quick brake life wear (according to the reading, but not accurate) end up eventually having the issue with the leak detection.

Finally got the module replaced (screen had been working) now the new module is bad and I have no backup lines and there’s an hour glass in the upper left corner of the screen when the camera is on.

Dealer is going to order another new module and put it in. The worst part is, I found one of the plastic covers in the bed tonight when I got home. Like they forgot to put an access panel back in.

Anyone know where the module is for the camera system.

2019 GMC Terrain.
I have had to replace my backup camera twice due to blue screen.  Now it is intermittent turning blue again.

 I really don’t want to be without the camera nor do I want to pay the high price of replacing it again.

 

Anyone else having the same problem?
