Crew Cab Underseat Lockable Storage | Silveardo LT Trail Boss

Any recommendations on a lockable underseat storage device for a 2019 TB?  I found the following;

It is priced 176.25 vs the 235.00 from chevrolet's accessories site.  However, I wanted to see if there are any better options before purchasing.  Thanks in advance for the help.

I personally love mine. I didnt have any storage underneath my rear seat and needed it for all of my stuff. It works great. i never lock it but i can say IMO its good, including for that price reduction why not. The picture below is from when i installed the floor mats.

Thanks for the confirmation.  Did you buy from the site I referenced or directly from dealer?  I have some myrewards points, but I can always use those for something else

Du-Ha sells this one that fits long guns. I was going to buy one of these once my kids outgrow the car seats, but I wasn't aware of that Lockable one. I really don't need the locks though.

Lock is nessecary for me to meet Canadian safe storage requirements if I want to leave it in there.

Shipped its $210.17 vs $235.  Was $34 in shipping almost.  If you get it from https://accessories.chevrolet.com/  there is a coupon right now CARGO15 that gets you 15% off and you can have it shipped to your dealer to avoid any freight.  Not sure if you'd avoid the sales tax, might depend on your state.  Came to $218 for me. 

 

If you have MyRewards points, you can cash them for a voucher and use it towards it too.  20,000 points gets you $100 voucher.  MyRewards points would save you the most $$$ on it.

@killramos Its my new T1(as seen in my profile). I am not sure what shotgun you own but i know a pistol shotgun fits just fine and a AR15 also fits( w/o mag). I used my Chevrolet rewards to purchase this and my floor mats.

 

@aseibel i agree, if i put a shotgun in there, i probably still wouldn't lock it. Unless im leaving the vehicle unattended for any long periods of time.

The full floor liner extends under the lockable case, so it needs to be cut a bit to install yes.

When you say "cut a bit" do you mean just some holes to extend the bolts through?  or actually trim the liner some?  I have the same floor liner and am debating on getting the GM storage or the Du-Ha (leaning towards the Du-Ha).  The Du-Ha looks a little bigger and doesn't lock (I don't need it to lock) but does anyone have the Du-Ha installed with the full interlocking floor liners installed?  I'm concerned the Du-Ha might not fit because of the raised lip that goes around the floor liner.  See attached pic.

 

Also, does the jack mount the same way it is mounted now in the GM Storage box?  I can't seem to find any pictures of the GM box with the lid open on the passenger side.
