How does the matte/textured black match the trim of the truck?

It is fairly close to the texture on the side mirrors, but far enough away that you don't notice a difference.  The Aeroskin II texture looks to be a little bigger than the mirrors, but again, it is not close enough to the mirrors to notice unless you are looking for it.

Dealer didn't install , have the same covers. I like them just wish they were thinner.

looks like you have the same truck as mine, same color etc

Might want to rethink those window visors. I too used the gloss black AVS/Lund on mine becuase they were the only full sets avaiulable at that time.

Just tore them off and installed the EGR matte Black visors on my RST which uses matte black "B"pillars and window surrounds. Easier to install, rears fit without bowing and not flimsy as the AVS.......gives it an OEM look. Available as a dealer accessory but with the strike it was easier to order for the same price online with free shipping.

I bought a set of in channel ones and it says they can’t be used in an automatic car wash, is this true and will they break or fall out or is this only to cover their a**?

They’ve been sitting in the box for about a month now still contemplating if I want to install them or not.

Well unless you go through the wash with your windows open I wouldn't worry about them falling out...  I have the Weather Tech in channel ones on my 2018 and have had no issues in the wash.

I would think that any car wash with high pressure air would pose an equal threat to in channel or taped over the door molding types. Likely an automatic  CYA move becuase they don't distinguish between different brands with different flex characteristics and mounting systems. The AVS/Lund are downright flimsy when compared with the EGR and Weathertech. But, Weathertech only makes them for '19 fronts so they were out and EGR makes the whole set in matte to match my trim. Further the EGRs, like Weathertechs,  go around the whole front top frame and behind the side mirror to reduce wind noise and the AVS do not.....and the EGR have much deeper stronger retention tabs which go completely in channel whereas the AVS have tabs slipping between the outside rubber and under the "B" pillar trim strip and rears have back tabs taped to the outside of the door frame at the "C" pillar.

With windows fully closed an AVS can still be flexed with a minimum of effort, the EGRs much stiffer like the Weathertech and near impossible to pull out. I don't use them but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate before taking the EGRs or Weathertechs through any car wash.

Nor would I. Had them on my '16 with no problems, and would have bought them as first choice for the '19,  but unfortunately they don't make them for the rear doors of the '19....plus the EGRs no only match the gauge and quality of the Weathetech but the matte black finish matches the RST finish on my window surrounds and pillar trim.

I have AVS in-channel vent visors and the AVS Aeroskin on my hood on my 2017 1500.

I have had some issues with the aeroskin staying put over time. They've sent me a couple replacements.

The aeroskin, from looking at it, you'd think "Ha, what good would that do?"

My 2014 got peppered with chips on the hood without one.

My 2017 paint is chip free on the hood.

As for the in-channel vent visors, they're the best you can buy. They are car wash safe. I love them.

I have the EGRs and they made it through a car wash without any problems. I have the front and backs in the dark tint. I would buy them again. Good product at a good price compared to the Weathertechs which are over priced at this point.
