are you talking about step 1?

 

the bolts "under the pad" are the torx screws later on in process...

 

please clarify and i can help with pics

Those look hella good! By any chance did you get a quote for hydro Dipping? Just curious to know if the charge for PC and Hydrodipping is close. I’m thinking about having a carbon fiber pattern hydro dipped and the charge is about $80 for both.

Having some trouble remembering how to put on the exhaust tips, the little threaded pieces for the screws go on the exhaust tip themselves correct? The you just put the screw into the hole on the truck and tighten it up?

Alright, tips installed. Looks awesome. Pics don't do it justice. I highly recommend this to everyone. Technically you don't have to remove the side steps to replace the tips. The space is tight but it's possible with a ratcheting wrench and a lot of elbow grease. This is how i installed it with the help of a friend.

Alright, tips installed. Looks awesome. Pics don't do it justice. I highly recommend this to everyone. Technically you don't have to remove the side steps to replace the tips. If not properly set, those things will drive you nuts, I’ll try and get a pic of how they go
