Irish80 Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 How long have you had the truck? Mine did the exact same thing for a week or two and then just stopped. It was crazy annoying and there was no rhyme or reason to it.

I agree it was mosre often the first few weeks.
redwngr Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Side question. What is the benefit of (reason for) connecting the truck to home wi-fi system?
JacobD Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 I just picked up a 2020 1500 and i keep getting these same privacy updates. I haven't downloaded any software updates but the vehicle is connected to onstar data and my home wifi. If i try to deny them it says it will delete my profile. It happens everyday maybe every 4 or 5 times i start the vehicle. I guess i'll keep pressing yes and hope they stop. I will also take a look at the map sd card.
Ryno12 Posted November 15, 2019 Posted November 15, 2019 Anyone find a resolution to this yet? It happens several times a week to me and it makes no difference where I am. I can be at home, at work, or cruising down the highway. Driving me nuts.
sdelam Posted November 16, 2019 Author Posted November 16, 2019 (edited) Dealer said they could not duplicate it, of course. It started getting worse (more frequent). I deleted my profile and started over and it stopped for a week or so, now it's back again. Edited November 16, 2019 by sdelam
Ryno12 Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 I may have found a band aid to curb the acknowledgments. I currently have the trial period for the Onstar plans and I also had the truck set up to connect to miscellaneous WiFi networks. I removed all the WiFi networks & have the Onstar set up to only connect to its own data plan. Since then all the acknowledgement prompts have stopped. It’s only been a few days so the jury is still out. It seems that the prompts are happening each time Onstar disconnects & reconnects to a different network. Limit it to a single network and it seems to stop. It still shouldn’t do that but at least the annoying prompts have stopped for the time being. Once my trial period is up & the Onstar data plan is no longer, I’ll set up my home WiFi again and see what happens from there.
dbs600 Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 (edited) I keep getting these privacy agreement screens as well; so annoying! Can someone tell me what's the latest software version for our trucks; 805, 807 or 809? I now have a 2020 ZR2 with version 805 that's stating no available updates. Any way to request or push updates to the truck? Thank you very much. My best. Edited September 4, 2020 by dbs600
sdelam Posted September 8, 2020 Author Posted September 8, 2020 Mine finally stopped in Dec/Jan. Dealer was never able to duplicate it. If I recall , I had to delete all the profiles in the truck and start over.
