Love this truck! Picked it up last night. Ceramic Coat looks great! Now to tint the markers and get some decent rubber installed.

Not so much :( was dirty the second it left the building to fill it up. Can't wash for two weeks either which is going to drive me mental.

Is ceramic coating necessary?  That seems pricey to me.  I usually trade my trucks in every 2-2.5 yrs and the paint pretty much looks the same.  I don’t think I even put a wax on my 2017.  I am very fussy so it gets the normal hand wash or touch free car wash with a towel dry every few days.  I usually get white trucks, is this a black truck thing?  What am i missing?

I have always been a Black/Dark truck person. The climate here is very hard on paint especially in the winter with our constant melt/freeze cycles. I have never owned a vehicle with Ceramic Coating but figured since this is my "Long Term" truck I would try it out. I will freely admit I am terrible when it comes to washing/waxing outside of the quick car wash. Time will tell I guess.

Got it..Nice looking truck!  I have always thought the dark colors look the best when clean and I owned nothing but black ‘back in the day’.  The constant drips that dried white from the salt that comes out of the moldings and other hidden places drove me nuts..lol

Congratulations on your new truck!  You can surprise yourself in the spring with a new looking truck!  I remember Alberta winters well and the few minutes of enjoyment immediately following a truck wash.  I lived in a rural area so a wash in town never lasted until I got home!

Yes  sir!

My situation now.

Mountains in Colorado.

Wouldn't change it though.

And a safety recall just came for that truck, 640,000 trucks affected.  Glad I haven't ordered a 2020 AT4 yet. Lucky your dealer let you take it.

Should be a quick easy fix and I’m guessing parts are readily available because I picked my truck up on 11/16 after it delivered 11/15 and they fixed this issue prior to receiving it. (2020 Sierra 3500HD Long Box)
