Given that you can't even get the bench seat with storage in the Custom, I highly doubt that.

That was my understanding but it is possible i’m wrong. When the 19 elevation came out i paid no real attention to it because it was in the extended cab version only here. I thought it was a dressed up base model similar to the custom.

It’s more like a RST, SLE, LT. The cool part about the Elevation though is that if you do opt for the 5.3 you still get the 10 speed. (Pretty sure it’s like that on all 5.3’s for 2020 with GMC)

I keep forgetting that Elevation was double cab only in the U.S. for 2019. In Canada, for 2019 it was actually a separate trim level, rather than an SLE appearance package and could be had in double or crew cab.

I will admit, when I first looked at the Elevation, I thought it seemed stupid to spend SLT money on what's basically a glorified SLE. However, I've come to realize that I hate chrome. So if I were buying a T1 with the 5.3, I would go for an Elevation and if I went for the 6.2, I'd pick an RST.

Yeah, SLE and up gets the 10 speed with the 5.3 for 2020. On the Chevy side, you have to go LT TB or HC to get that combo.

Like Ford and Ram. I wish you could get each trim level in painted bumpers and grill. Again with my comment about getting rid of Mary.

I ended up with chrome on my Tundra because the SX package that makes everything body coloured is only available in black, white or red and my wife said no red trucks.

Toyota does some weird stuff too. My neighbor across the street from me has a Cement Tundra and it has a chrome front bumper with a painted rear bumper. ?

RST and LTtrailboss are postioned between LT and LTZ

Traditional LT= SLE and LTZ=SLT

Elevation is between SLE and SLT

So, if you consider Elevation to be like RST, then the answer is yes.

The AT4 is positioned between the SLT and Denali, which would be like being between LTZ and High Country.

At the end of the day, the are all just different GM trims. 14 trims in all, for the 1500 series pickups.

The chassis are the same for both divisions.

Thats a pretty good indication. But I wouldn't necessarily put the elevation at the RST trim. My father in law has the custom trailboss and my co worker has the elevation...after seeing both I'd put the trims almost equal (custom/elevation)...GMC will always come better equipped base. The RST seems to just be in its own nitch in the market. A highly equipped LT w/ color matching if anything. I have a 19 RST

Elevation comes with DFM and 10 speed, you can get bucket seats, heated steering wheel/seats. Actual storage in the bench or bucks seat console. Rear seat storage. Rear sliding window Basically you can get everything on a Elevation you can on a RST except the 6.2. You can even get the 3.0 Duramax.

Sorry, it’s not a custom. It’s as you said. A high equipped LT (SLE) with color matched exterior.

Maybe the 2020's but the 19's that my co worker has as well as every one that I saw on the lot was bare bones.

You do realize that you can get a bare bones RST too right? Each trim has anywhere from 5-10k in options you can put on them.

Or more.

Which is why it's so hard to compare different trims by looking at 2 trucks.

Near impossible to know what was standard on the trims and what was optional.

If a person had enough knowledge to know what was standard/optional on the two, then they wouldn't need to make a side-by-side comparison.

Or how if you want to get their premium colour (army green for 2020), you have to shell out $20k extra over the base SR5 (i.e. more than a Platinum) for the TRD Pro, which is missing a lot of features for the price point.

    • It wouldn’t have happened if the government hadn’t mandated outrageous fuel mileage standards. It does very little for the consumer. It adds cost. Back during Covid there was a chip shortage. They gave a rebate for your truck if it didn’t have the chip to turn on cylinder deactivation. It was 50$ because at best you may see 1/2 a mile increase per gallon. Splitting hairs each fuel mileage trick wasn’t mandated. The government doesn’t do the engineering work and say use this until it’s already in use and they like it. The fuel mileage was mandated. And those add ons the results. There’s a mandate and they are the results.
    • It was never mandated.  Ever.    Automakers were incentivized to install it by getting CAFE credits to help with their vehicle fleet fuel economy scores.  They were being handed money/CAFE credits to install it.  Which is NOT a mandate.       The current admin removed the incentives that were behind them installing it.
    • Are you playing Slide Down endlessly but your score is still low? Are you constantly crashing into obstacles as the game speed increases? Don't worry, this article will share 5 invaluable tips to help you master the race and impress your friends. Golden Rules 1. Look one step further. The mistake of 90% of new players is only staring at their character. The secret of experts is to look towards the top of the screen (where the slide is about to appear). This gives your brain an extra 0.5 - 1 second to process the situation and determine the direction of movement before the obstacle approaches. 2. Use gentle movements; don't swipe too hard. Slide Down is very sensitive. Moving your finger too forcefully or with excessive amplitude will cause your character to be thrown off course or crash into a wall. Practise moving your finger with small, decisive, and precise movements. 3. Don't be greedy for gold in dangerous locations. Gold coins are tempting for buying skins, but life is more important. If you see a gold coin right on the edge of a cliff or next to a spike trap, ignore it. Our goal is a High Score, and your score only increases if you survive. 4. Make the most of Power-ups. During the slide, you'll encounter items like Magnets (attract gold) or Shields (temporary invincibility). Never miss them! Especially the Shield, it's your "get out of jail free card" to help you get through those deadly fast sections. 5. Stay calm when speed peaks. When your score exceeds 500 or 1000, the game speed will be very fast. At this point, don't try to think logically; let your natural reflexes work. Take deep breaths and don't panic. Apply these 5 tips to your next game, and your leaderboard will surely improve dramatically. Good luck climbing the Slide Down leaderboard!
