The service mgr did say they were going to make sure all the techs were aware of this for any others that come in for the recall so there wouldn’t be any issues.   Thanks for heads up on this!

I continue to appreciate your posts everyone.

This is my first GMC. Bought it because I read reviews noting the reliability of the brand. Hmmmm. I didn't mention that last September the transmission went south (even tough I drive like an old lady), and that it took two weeks to be fixed. Get this... the service tech needed a pin from GMC to finish the repair, but the pin could only be delivered via email and no emails happen with GMC Corp over weekends. So instead of picking up Friday afternoon waited three more days for a Monday afternoon pick up.

Oh, and the automatic step rails/boards squeek when the temps are below freezing (I live at almost 9000 ft in Colorado), but because the service garage is above freezing, the squeek can't be duplicated, so they guess with silicon spray, as do I, but the cold weather squeeking remains.

So it sounds like all I can really do is take it to the dealer (almost 100 miles round trip - thus why I really value reliability), and if it is a camera causing the Intellibeam and Lane Keep Assist woes, then probably wait for the part to come in, and then make another dedicated trip to see if that fixes it. Not that these are critical needs, but dang, when someone spends $60K+ for the new truck, one kinda hopes everything works for a reasonable amount of time.

Any lift/level/tire changes?

Just received my 2019 sierra 1500 Denali ultimate back from the dealer yesterday after fixing multiple recalls. One of them being the brake assist feature and I am having the same issue as everyone else in this post. The lane keep assist is not working along with the intellibeam. I have also notice that when I go into vehicle settings on the main display under collision system settings ( something like that) all the safety settings were off... so I turned them on, exited out, went back into the settings to double check and found that it keeps defaulting to the off setting. I did this multiple times same result. Just a heads up to double check your settings because there may be more safety features not working than you may be aware of. Obviously not safe!! The worst part is everything was working great before I brought it to the dealer.

They just issued a recall to fix this issue that recall caused. If they did the latest one and it's still doing that that doesn't bode well.

I have my appt on tuesday, no safety features work except blind spot monitor. With all the stuff I've seen I'm almost afraid to drive it at this point waiting to see if the brakes will go out or not.

Also since the over the air update for the infotainment I've been having issues with that where it decides to play whatever music is on at an entirely different volume everytime I start the vehicle. Loving GM right now.

I am currently experiencing the exact same thing on my 2020 Silverado LTZ Z71. Lane Assist System is unavailable, intellibeam does not light up on the dash, Collision Detection System goes back to off, and so does the Pedestrian braking.

I know this post is over a year ago and most of this happened on 2019 GM trucks, but could I possibly need the same software update/recall performed?

I am not finding any solutions online or YouTube.

I tried to check the fuse, but I do not know which fuse is the one for that camera (behind the rearview mirror) as the manual does not specifically state it.

Get the front windshield camera checked for proper alignment or working condition. That camera controls alot of the safety features and there is a procedure to realign and recalibrate the unit.

Yeah, I have an appointment at the dealer tomorrow.

Do you happen to know if it would have to be checked/recalibrated again if I were to lift the truck?

Thinking of doing 2" in the front and 2" in the rear.
