I know the hood is made of a softer metal, but, WOW!

Look at the front bumper, that is a solid piece, makes me wonder how far out of alignment is the engine sitting now?

Would also think there has to be some sort of frame damage too.

Haha it looks bad but I pulled everything off and the frame is fine engine and everything looks good. I’ll update more pictures tomorrow when I get home

Aww man that sucks big time. I am confident you're going to need a frame machine. Frame horns will be bent in and pointing at each other. Going to be a nightmare just removing that bumper. Can you write it off? Or was it one of "those nights". Looks like the pole come down and got the roof too, hopefully the A pillars aren't tweaked.

I’ll send more pictures when I get off work tomorrow. I pulled everything off it only took about a half a day. Only thing with the frame is the flat part where bumper bolts to are bent just a little but I can easily heat it up and get that straight

That's good, usually the whole frame horn/bumper mounts will compress and bend inwards as they are designed to for softening impacts. Hopefully you can find some airbags cheap. A couple good resources on YouTube are Goonsquadz and VTuned garage, couple of young pups that really know how to fix up these modern vehicles after a wreck. Good luck, keep us posted.

I want a bumper like this!  I think Op would still have experienced significant damage with such a bumper.  These heavy duty bumpers are great for the smaller bumps but aren't "bullet proof".  My friend was in a major hit with his hd bumper and it exacerbated the damage to his truck.  It prevented some cosmetic crumple damage but his truck shrunk where the box joined the cab and the doors were sealed shut!  The truck wasn't worth fixing but the bumper was worth keeping!

I’m surprised anyone walked away from that one. ?

Remember, it's a tradeoff.  The energy in the collision has to go somewhere.  If the OP had a really big, strong bump on the truck, like this DV8 thing, the bumper may have not been as damaged, but the frame would likely have taken more damage.  And perhaps the occupants would have been injured more, as if the front end doesn't crumple as much, it means the truck stopped that much faster, increasing the G-forces applied to them.

While that damage looks bad, if it's like what the O.P. said and it's mostly just bolt on pieces that are damaged, that is a win.

Hitting a power or light pole is something you really want to avoid, as they pretty strong, solidly affixed to the ground so they don't move, and then there's the possibility that after the initial impact, it will then fall on top of the vehicle....

It was pretty embarrassing, looked down at my phone hit the vibrating bumps in the road, then hit the 4 inch lip where asphalt meets the gravel and tried to avoid the pole but I didn’t want to over correct and roll so I hit the pole and it came out of the ground I didn’t even feel it just heard pop and the truck just crunched

Takes a real man/ woman to admit their wrong. Much props to ya. Do you have full coverage? If not a plasma cutter/ sawzall and many sockets, box wrenches, pry bars and a welder are in your future

Ok no worries. Are you looking to keep the truck or sell?

Ok so lets say you get lucky and find a guy like Frankie selling a front end crazy cheap. Your still in for the radiator, condenser, fans and what ever is broken.

I for one would like to see you get this fixed.
