Silverado leather issues.

I just purchased a new 2020 RST with leather, before I bought the truck the dealer fixed the leather seat portion of the passenger seat. They changed the whole seat but they provided a seat that now has issues also. Is anyone having issues with the leather on the seats loose and wrinkled? It’s more noticeable on the side lumbar panels. Maybe I’m being picky, wanted to get some options prior to calling the dealer.

Definitely looks very saggy!! Mine looks nothing like that on either of my seats.

They look like aftermarket if you ask me, are these katzkins because that doesn't look like a oem leather seat cover?

No, you are not being picky, that looks like crap, doubt if you paid for the "patina" leather package.

 

Also surprised they were able to get you a brand new seat so quickly, with so many parts on back order nation wide, that is pretty impressive?

 

When I had seat issues in my 14, they did not even stock the new seats to be sold, so they robbed one out of a 15 to make me happy.

Just saying because many dealers are putting those covers on trucks on their lot and that is how the look for the most part until the sun warms them up but imo covers even top dollars ones like Katzkins have that close but not perfect fit to them. No doubt your dealer at least took the cover off at some point, that is no way in heck from the factory like that. I would ask them for another new seat or have someone that knows what they are doing fit it because that thing looks over stretched to me.

Welcome to this forum!  My guess is that these are dealer installed covers and not factory.  Check the build sheet on your new truck to see if it came from the factory with the "leather" seats.

the sticker had he leather package. All the other leathers looks good. Where would I locate the build sheet?

Thanks for the welcome, I’m glad everyone is willing to provide feedback. I’m sure I will have more questions since this truck is much different then my 05 Silverado.

Before I purchased it there was a seat issue with the leather being very wrinkled. they said they switched the entire chair since they could not just switch the seat. I didn’t not notice the lumbar and back section prior to deliver since I was focused on the seat section. I will be contacting the dealership to see about switching it out and making sure it looks right before they install it.

You may want to look at the entire vehicle closely, sounds like it could be water damaged or something.

There should be a QR label inside of the drivers front door jamb, that will give you most of the factory RPO codes, and what they are.

It is looking like a saggy seat cover or maybe have fitting issues. I think you should definitely consult with dealer and ask about this problem. To remove saggy appearance of leather seats, usually YouTube tutorials suggest to apply hot air from hair dryer with custom settings and then application of leather seat conditioners like this ( https://leather-toolkits.com/reviews/best-car-leather-cleaners-and-conditioners/  ) could be a better idea. However, as your leather covers are entirely new that's why it is better to consult with dealer. 

Mayhap, it is a fitting issue as compared to wrinkles. On the other hand, it could also an issue related to your seat foam. Yes, maybe your seat foam was used and old and it didn't support the cover in appropriate manner. Dealer will tell you such issues in detail.
