This is what I was given, need another 5 days work (at least I think so), but it only comes in a 5 day supply.

azithromycin 250 MG tablet
Commonly known as: ZITHROMAX
You are correct, it will get worse, the media will lull us away from it, as they always do, and they will have big news again in the fall when the S### hits the fan again, that is whay I am going to hold onto my pants instead of my shirt?

Yeah. That’s what i was originally given. Didn’t do a dang thing!

It made an improvement over how I was feeling, still felt like a steaming pile of poop, but better.

Like I said, 5 more days worth and I would have been great.

Antibiotics are to treat bacterial infections, rather than viral ones. SARS-COV-2 is a virus, not a bacteria. You guys either didn't have COVID-19 or your doctors are quacks.

But my question has been all along, how many types of the virus (mutations) we will see, and how many will our bodies build an immunity too?

Given the differences in immune systems, there could be as many mutations as you have infected people spreading the virus worldwide.  We are not going to stop the mutation, but wearing face masks and/or distancing will allow science to get ahead of the virus to where it is controllable.

I admire the attitude, and that is how I have been treating things, tired of living in fear.

Hopefully, you had the bad strain and your body will fight off lesser versions of it.

It was a scary time in my life!  We bought a new house, closed last May, started doing things to clean it up a bit, then he got diagnosed.  Needless to say, he spent most of last summer in and out of the hospital, i stayed Working to keep my mind off things.  We have 2kids, one being only 9.   The kids have been home from school since March, I’ve been home from work since March.  This coronavirus scared me again, how do I keep a guy who is very active home and out of harms way of this silent killer!  He’s a police officer who is a motor cop.  I have to argue with him when he says he’s sick and f’ing tired of being in the house.   I aint gonna lie to ya’ll. When i have To drive him to chemo, I’m more afraid of him going in there and catching the rona.   Even though hospitals take the best precautions to keep a sterile environment, those places are petri dishes and i find then to be more disgusting than public bathrooms

Yes! I totally Agree with u!  As much of a pain in arse the masks are, they do help with keeping the spread under control

Either way, I did feel better, and found out an interesting fact about the drug:

Antibiotics used at high doses for short periods of time may mask or delay the symptoms of incubating gonorrhea or syphilis (meaning the disease is already present and developing in the body but symptoms have not yet appeared). Therefore, Zithromax, at the recommended dose, should not be relied upon to treat gonorrhea or syphilis, two types of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) caused by bacterial infections.

The more you know, I will consider this my PSA for the day?

Just got back from helping my brother in law get his camper. On the way up in Texas I stopped to get gas. Across the parking lot was a McDonald’s. I had him go there to get a couple burgers while I filled up. I went in the gas station to use the restroom. There he was. What’s the deal I asked. The lobby’s closed we had to used the drive through. We’re having this conversation inside the gas station. They also sell food. This stuff is just wacky. I’m reading about so many different numbers of how many have it. I give up, every body’s lying. I carry a mask and hand sanitizer. I’m resuming my life, with more precautions. At least I learned that for the flu anyway. Seems everyone’s full of it. I guess we’ll get the truth some day.

A very bad criminal got sentence to jail time in Texas yesterday. This must be an evil person. There letting people out during this time with pretty bad rap sheets. The crime. She opened her hair salon early. Her employees need to work. She had customers wanting to visit. Apparently the judge who is getting paid decided that excuse of needing to buy food for her kids. Isn’t a good reason. So we are witnessing what a socialist government looks like. If you like it. There are places that will welcome you. Spare me the death count. This is worse. There are choices. Scared stay home. Let the people make choices.

You're right, there are choices, I totally agree with that.  Just because someone has the right to stay in doesn't make them scared.  It's like saying folks that go out are stupid.  Neither reasoning pass the test.  Most people have valid reasons for doing either whether it be by choice or necessity.

I think fear is the driving force by design. They keep saying the older people with underlying conditions are the most fatalities. They’re increasingly saying there’s more carriers with no symptoms. But you go out and about you see fear in mostly young people. The older are like give me a break. I’ve been out enough. The younger seem the most fearful. The older have been through more, less fearful. The younger have seen more plague video games and programs and believe it.

The Wuhan virus causes an acute inflammatory response, especially in the lungs. This leads to fluid build-up and a secondary bacterial infection (pneumonia). Azithromycin and the other macrolide antibiotics are effective in treating these secondary bacterial infections.

I went out yesterday to a small business bike shop in my area to get my son a new bike.  On their website, they stated that only 5 people were allowed in the store at a time, all bikes would be sanitized, etc. etc.   So we get there, one of the employees lets us in and for the first 5 minutes everything is fine.  Then a few of their regular customers show up so now we're past the 5 person max.  Oh, and they're not wearing masks, but nothing is said to them.  Then some of the employees take off their masks.  Now, I'm in a confined space with my 8 year old son and my wife who is high risk and only went because she was comfortable with the precautions they promised on their website.  Needless to say, I played lead blocker for my family and shielded them from all the people without masks as we left the store.  Not a fun situation.

I WANT to believe that people can be trusted to do the right thing, and continue to be cautious while relaxing the restrictions, but just this past week we've seen that this can't be done.  So what's the solution?  Do we allow more businesses to open and have regular citizens report violations?  That's gonna flood local PD with way more work than they can handle.  Will people be civil when someone asks them to put a mask on?  Some will, but there will be confrontations over this.  In my brief 40 years of existence I've come to know that most people in general are good natured and considerate of others.  However, there are WAY too many people that don't care about anyone but themselves and won't follow the rules.  Those are the people that worry me.

Totally ridiculous. Hearing AZ isn’t letting mom and pop stores open but the big box stores can open. They also said the local police had to go to whatever major city to buy ammo vs buying from the mom and pop shop [emoji35].

    • That sir is a choice. And even if it were not for all the reasons stated, this disruption has zero to do with the reality of the actual logistics and everything to do with the greed of SPECULATION. Spot price is irrelevant to reality.
    • What I think you're saying is there is supply here at home, and in Venezuela, and we could ease pricing if only it were favorable to do so.   Well, yes?   But that's not the current market. Supply isn't what could someday exist, if only, it's what producers are willing to produce and sell at a certain price point.   The national price of single family homes would come way down if we'd just slap together a few million homes this summer.   RAM and GPUs would get a lot cheaper if we just set up some factories to produce a bunch more and stopped using it to build out AI data centers.

Anyone have any advice? . rain-sensing function, but I am still experiencing this issue Sometimes they stay on, and other times we swipe 2 or 3 times and stop. It's super annoying, especially after a fresh wash. When I use my turn signal, they will randomly turn on. • If we actually used any significant amount of that source in the USA then I'd agree but we don't. We've had that discussion before. We drill and pump more than we use. Thing is, we sell. We export. Gas and Crude. It's more profitable so any shortage here is self inflicted and LEGAL.    I worked a gas plant that has multiple fuel sources available and I worked in the furnace and boiler plant in that facility. I'd had days we swapped fuel types four times in a twelve hour shift which isn't done on supply but on margin. Two of the fuel sources are internally generated. Tail gas and DAK, both of which are sold as well a consumed. We always had more than we needed to run the process but we chose the fuel that produced the best margin not bought at the cheapest price always. A good bit of math to that and back in the time that was done on a slide rule.     I worked the Shale Oil Semiworks of Chevron Research and CONOCO Research in Salt Lake City. That process never went into production although it was very successful. Why? Did we lack oil bearing shale? Nope. Price of crude never made the margins work. That was in the late 70's early 80's. Remember history? What was happening then was a reaction to that situation. It didn't drive it. If so then it's easy. This isn't a supply and demand thing. This is a profit and margin thing and AI rules that now.    In no refining situation that I was ever in would a bomb hitting a well anywhere in the world 'instantly' interrupt or even distress the supply. Most plants have more than a months worth of crude in the tank field and more in pumping stations. That yo-yo could play out over days, weeks and maybe months and have zero impact on plant operations. How many times has this been off and on in the last few months? These people and not stupid. These plants measure down time in hundreds of thousands of dollars per day. They are not sucking fumes or waiting on the next truckload with baited breath. Besides, as I noted, they are for the most part 'vertically integrated'. They own it from the dirt is sits in to the delivery rack and sometimes to the pump. It has a HUGE shock absorber built in. When production suffers, refining wins and when refining is winning exploration is killing. The rest of that crap in the news is a 'news cycle'. Government dipping in to reserves? Oil is stealing their milk money. There's a reason Chevron abandon Venezuela infrastructure and it had nothing to do with security of US citizens. Nationals run those plants. it has to do with MARGINS disappearing to corruption. They are in no hurry to return. Is there supply there? Oh yea. More than enough to offset what is bought in the middle east. Just isn't ???? Profitable.    We have supply. There are places in Illinois you can drive a pipe into the ground and run your homes natural gas furnace on it.    A refinery fire will gum up the supply works but not a localized war where the market is using a limited supply from. Now Europe, that's something other....
