What is this USB input?

I was wondering what the USB input is on the left side?  It looks like an apple type input, but I have never seen a cable with this style connector on it at the input end.  The owners manual just says there is a USB input but no farther definition.  Any help would be appreciated.

You can get adapters that go USB C to USB A.

Its for the android drive or apple drive. It puts your maps and audio right on the radio. Its great

My Android phone uses standard USB so the USB-C is of little to no use for me.  I will look into an adapter as Flat350 suggested.

Gotcha. Didnt realize it only worked with usb c

USB-C usually charges your iPhone faster than normal though I’m not sure what the output of that port is. Haven’t had a chance to check it.
