The problem I had with him was he was so certain if you remember. The vaccine will keep you from getting Covid, he said that. He was that certain and arrogant. I have no problem with people giving it their best guess. It’s called practicing medicine for a reason. He did say during the hearing that the 6ft rule just came out of thin air. That affected everything. They let that go on even after they knew it did nothing. As it turned out most everyone got it, some several times. History shows that always how it turns out. At best you try not to over whelm the hospitals. And come up with mitigating medicines. It never gets stopped history proves that. The fact it was man made is still being somewhat downplayed. He may be culpable. It will come out eventually. It always does.

That's the same "logic" of a passenger on a jet I flew who might wonder why I have so much rudder in on an engine failure just after V1 on takeoff in a 767-300 outta high hot air field and not roll it inverted to clear the mountain ahead. They are too ignorant of the immediate and systemic danger as a passenger when I was trying to save the other 300 peoples lives, let alone those on the ground who we would wipe out.   Some folks are too slow to understand even post event.

If I remember correctly he said it would lessen the effects if vaccinated, not prevent infection and he was correct to that regard. Now people are blaming everything from headaches to heart attacks on the vaccines. Show me some proof please

The wife went on a tour of Scotland with her brother and sister in law. A group of people traveling together. She came home last Saturday feeling terrible, tested positive for Covid. Neither one of us has ever had it.

Interesting, my wife, daughter and a friend went to Ireland last fall and when they came back they all felt sick and turns out they had Covid as well.

Last post on this subject for now for me. Actually you’re partly correct. At first it was stated as cure, then it was to lessen the effect. During the hearing he stated it wore off fast.

I’m not going to play the article game. He said it would keep you from getting COVID in the beginning. I wouldn’t make it up. It wouldn’t serve any purpose. I’m an so done with this fiasco. It amazing how people are with oil for their vehicles. Compared to an untested vaccine. Let her rip.

You crack me up sometime Stan. In a good way. The NEWS said blah blah blah not Fauci. He ALWAYS talked in terms of efficacy. I was there too young man. I watched everyday like everyone else. I can't tell you how many times during the unfolding I would look at my wife and say after some commentator got done with their 'panel' of experts, "That isn't what Tony said!" Then I would rewind it and watch him again and again. Just :nonod: Nope, he said X%.

If you had read the article, you would have LEARNED that as time passed the vaccine became less effective in symptomatic covid but still provided "good" protection against "hospital and death cases". Mutations will do that.

You know what Fauci didn't say? Drink or inject bleach. Maybe that guy would have done a better job or running the CDC.

Love ya brother :)

Hardly “most people say” you parrot that from your Jebus politician archetype? Marjorie says he’s just like her savior.
Horse Feathers. What you support is a MINORITY position nation wide. Thanks be to the real Jesus. Only fear from me is electoral system will elect this false prophet again.
Have a great day Stanley.

I thought about my Covid spare time yesterday as I replaced the door knob set on my garage door.  The door is spring loaded and was starting to stick.  Finally it stuck closed for good!  The house is 12 years old and has the same door hardware on most doors.  Google told me that door hardware can wear out after 10 or so years depending on the type and amount of use.  I realized that this particular door is the most  used door in the house by far.  During Covid, the garage was my #1 place to go!   I checked the hardware on the other doors and noticed that you could definitely tell the difference in the doors that receive a lot of use.  Rather than replace parts, I thought this would be a good time to switch to lever style passage sets.   I became discouraged when I first started looking.  The price for one brand name door set was more than I'd consider paying for upgrading all of the doors in my house!   Thankfully I stumbled upon contractors'/ store brand bulk packs.  All of the home improvement chains carry similar items and typically look better than the expensive ones, imo.
