Power steering

I have a 2015 GMC 5.3 Sierra 4 wheel drive, crew cab, 40,000 miles and has anyone had their power steering scream for a few minutes and then stopped ? Going to the dealer but you know how that goes. If it's not doing it now we can't fix it.

Can you provide any information about your truck? Year, miles, model, 2WD, 4WD, lifted, lowered, see where I am going?

I've read that the oil pump is making the noise. Its supposed to be normal, but just a loud pump.
