TPMS Sensors with Advanced Trailering Package

I recently purchased a 2020 Silverado 2500 LTZ with the Advanced Trailering package. Am I supposed to get a set of TPMS sensors included with the sale? I thought they were supposed to come with the truck, but my Dealer says they're not. I really want to use the trailering app in the truck to see the pressures of my trailer tires. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You don't get trailer tire pressure monitoring with advanced trailering package. It is a separate option code. You can add it after the truck is built.

Nope. 2 separate options. I paid for both. Advanced trailering has nothing to do with the TPMS.

You need advanced trailering to get trailer tire pressure monitoring. The trailer app is needed to view pressures. You should be able to add trailer tire pressure monitoring as an accessory. The module plugs in behind the license plate. It will cost you more as an accessory because you will have to buy the sensors separately.

Sensors require that the truck that the U1D option to function, but are not included with U1D.

PTT Trailer Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors, includes set of 4 sensors. Sensor functionality requires (U1D) In-vehicle Trailering App to be ordered with the vehicle and installed by the factory. Sensors will be shipped loose with the truck and will need to be installed on trailer by customer. System is capable of monitoring up to 6 wheels. Additional or replacement sensors are available through GM Accessories

U1D In-vehicle Trailering App, System, includes checklist, trailer maintenance reminders, trailer security alerts, trailer mileage, tow/haul reminder, trailer electrical diagnostics and Trailer Tire Pressure Monitor System module

Includes trailer tire pressure monitoring alert ONLY when (PTT) trailer tire pressure monitor system is factory ordered and sensors are installed

Thanks everyone. I can't see on my sticker where it lists PTT as an ordered option. So from what I have read here, I guess my truck isn't currently capable of reading the trailer tire pressures. Not sure it's worth the add-on expense. I can always just check them the old fashioned way I suppose. I guess I thought if you got the Advanced Trailering option it would be included. Thanks everyone!

You just need U1D for the sensors to work. PTT is the sensors themselves.

This is the set that came with my ordered truck. GM p/n 84152501 Made by Shrader. 433 mhz I suspect any 433 mhz sensor would work, but not positive on that.

That's not correct. There is a module behind the license plate. It can be bought as an accessory.

So the module doesn't come with U1D? Or you don't even need U1D to add the module?

So this isn’t included with the Denali ultimate package? Was actually getting ready to set mine up. I purchased sensors online but not sure if I have the module. Anyone have a part number for the module. Is it just plug and play or does the dealership have something to do?

does Anyone have a picture of said U1D module that’s behind the rear license plate. I have a module behind mine but not sure if it’s the correct one. When I do a trailer setup in my trailering app it has maintenance reminders and check list but see nothing about security or tire pressure sensors.
