Cruise Control

I know this is kind of stupid but I figured I ask anyway. With the Empty highways in NJ due to the stay at home order (my company is deemed essential in NJ as a FYI) I've been able to set my cruise control on the way to and from the office in which I could never do before the Virus. As I play around with it I have found that I can't set my CC to 80 MPH, no matter how hard I try I can only get 79 or 81. I already know I'm speeding, I just find it odd that I can't set it to 80. Anyone else notice this?

That’s weird. I use CC a lot and have never noticed. I will try next time I’m driving.

I have never had a problem with mine. 80 is exactly where I set mine every day to and from work.

So when you set it to 79 and give the adjustment wheel one tap up it skips 80?

Yes, and when I hold the truck at 80 and set cc it either sets at 79 or 81. Not enough of an issue to take to the dealer but it is kinda weird.

Somethings wrong with it then. I set my cruise to 80 all the time since most of the interstates around here have a 70 MPH limit.

I agree but not worth taking it to the dealer for me, it works, I shouldn’t be on cc at that speed anyway, just with the empty roads around here i took advantage of it, once things get back to normal I won’t have to worry about it anymore.
