Any idea how many lumens the 2017 Silverado's DRL's are?

I'm looking to do some accent lights on the grill, but i want them to match the brightness of the DRL's as closely as possible.

I don't have an answer for you as to the lumens BUT have you checked for an App that can measure them? I found several on Play Store. I can not say that they are any good BUT may be worth a try. Good luck.

Is it lumens or color temperature?

I remember asking a similar question for the same reason and no response.

Lumens is a number to represent the brightness of the lights, color temperature is just that, the color. I believe they are 6000k as I've seen that in a few spots across the internet, but I haven't found anything that tells me the lumens.

I'm bringing this up for maybe someone new sees it. I still want to know what the color temp is for the led lights on a 2018 LT.

Headlights, foglights and the DRL strip under the headlight are the same color.

What's the color temperature?

I don't want a light bar that's a different color. Ish.

Doubt they're 6,000 as the stock HID bulbs are only 2,000 lumens each with a 4,500K color temperature.

4,500K for color temperature on stock HID bulbs so I'll assume the rest of the lights are right there or very close. When I swapped my HID bulbs to higher wattage, I went with 5,000 and can't tell the difference. Only had the option of 4K, 5K, and 6K. Didn't want the ice blue of the 6K so kept the 5K as close to stock DRL and fogs as possible.

Thanks Shifty
That's the answer I was looking for. 4500-5000 it is then.
