Control Arm

Can someone tell me if these control arm bushing is serviceable.

 

 

Truck goes into the dealership Thursday for oil pan gasket leaking.

 

My used truck undercariage is rusty. Truck was purchase in Georgia.

 

2016 Sierra 77k miles 4x4.

Service-able. Absolutely. Now finding someone will to do it instead of the quicker A arm replacement is another story. They like to do what is quickest and easiest for them. $$$$ The R & R of the A arm as a unit MAY be cheaper than that of the bushings but yes, it can be done and parts are available.

It's more effective to change the arm. It takes a lot of force to push the bushings in and out. You could probably make a jig of some type to do it, but what's your time worth?

The tool is called an arbor press. Ever hear of guys replacing those rubber biscuits with Urethane?
