2000 Sierra 2500HD Odometer Issue!!!

Replaced cluster in vehicle bc fuel gauge and odometer wasn’t counting assuming that would fix the issue and still having the same issue, milage still appears and all other gauges work as they should but odometer doesn’t count anymore and fuel gauge jumps around randomly while driving. If one or the other worked I wouldn’t really care but since it’s a 6.0 and chugs gas it’s hard to know how much fuel I’ve used or have left without the odometer reading anymore miles and the fuel gauge not working accurately

When sitting still,engine running,does fuel gauge peg or show empty?

When sitting still it shows empty while running and once I start driving it jumps around randomly there’s no real method to it it just does what it wants once the trucks in movement

the fuel gauge reading empty means you have high resistance in the circuit, check the 402 ground. it is on the frame near the rear bumper
