These trucks are nice.  Strip down the lights and grille and it looks just like my Tahoe.  Build it back up, it's not twice the worth of my Tahoe.   There is no way there it's a 56K difference once you put the lights and grille back on.  Ok, maybe throw on some designer leather, designer speakers, ...

Good topic. Watching the inauguration got me thinking about all of those black suburban's the secret service has of of course the Caddy Beast. Do you think Old Joe will make them switch to electric?

Would be kind of embarrassing and dangerous if a Secret Service guy forgot to charge up the fleet!

Electric is practical for Secret Service type of driving, but I don’t see those vehicles going electric.  Although those beasts burn a lot of fuel, driving ten miles here and ten miles there is not going to save anything or put out any measurable monoxide.  Even if they were to change, it wouldn’t be smart not to have a back-up fuel canister.

Actually Joe just announced it. All govt vehicle's are going to move towards electric. I guess that is because they don't exist yet unless he is going to have a TESLA BEAST. Which is kind of an oxymoron!  Looks like they like to buy GM so maybe you will see Joe driving a Bolt!

$124K means different things to different people.  I look at a new Escalade and I put it in my lottery win wish list!  My brother would probably simply write  the dealer a cheque.   If I had this kind of a budget for a SUV/pickup I think I would rather dress-up (personalize) a SLT or LTZ level truck!
