Not using Android Auto. Did you read my post? It does not happen in my '20 Equinox or my '16 Colorado.

If you read the freakin article it is not only android auto issue, but android and google chrome software issue.  Good luck.

I can't really tell if it does it in Safe Mode because I had to manually connect to the Bluetooth. It wouldn't auto connect.

I'll have to look for that and see if I can get one.

I guess find another High Country or Note 20 and see the combination works. My Note 20 Ultra works fine in my High Country. Try a different cable?

No cable. It is upon getting into the truck and Bluetooth connecting.

I've also switched to Alexa as the voice command button because 6 out of 10 times the truck will say I don't have a phone connected, even though it is connected and the battery/signal shows on the display and all calls route through the truck.

My Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will connect, disconnect, connect, disconnect, and connect several times when I first get in the truck. It only does this in my '20 T1, but not in my '20 Equinox.

Anyone else have this issue with their Android phone? It;s really annoying as sometimes it will not let me use Bluetooth unless I turn it off and back on on the phone. I've got a few Tasker profiles that run when the Bluetooth is connect to my truck and when it disconnects.

I had the EXACT SAME ISSUE in a 2018 F150 using a Samsung S9. Phone worked fine in other older vehicles, other phones worked fine in the truck. The phone also did not like using a newer Bluetooth speaker, so I had to argue with T-Mobile customer support for 3 hours to get those morons to take the phone back under the 14 day defective return clause, I am not going to get into how awful tmobile customer service is, at least firstnet by att is US based.

Got a new phone, eventually, and problem solved.

I think it was a radio antenna in the phone not functioning properly.

The voice command issue is addressed in TSB 20NA199, update to u150. If you have not had the previous versions OTA you will need to go to the dealer for the update since it is too large vs the old software you have. It fixed the issue in my truck.

It may fix the other issues you are having since the phone works in the Equinox.

If after the update it still doesn't work try:

Swapping phones with insurance claim or warranty claim if possible or if you know someone with a similar phone try theirs. Also see if you can let the dealer allow you to try out trucks on the lot, should give an indication in which way to look.

If that doesn't work then I would hit you the service department for a new Bluetooth module. There is a 99 percent chance that if only your phone does it then they will blame the phone, if multiple do it or it does it on the other trucks on the lot, they should then start looking into the Bluetooth module in the truck. The dealer should also allow you and a tech or shop foreman to try out a few on the lot with your phone for comparison. They most likely will need to consult GM Tech hotline for assistance since I have not seen a TSB for this type of phone issue.

I use a s20+ on android 10 in a 2020 silverado radio RPO code is IOS.

Also LG v60 and g8 work as well.

Did you or did you skim this thread and the article and act all-knowing?  This is a Pixel device issue

"Google says the problem affects the Pixel 3 and newer models, including the Pixel 5."

OP, if you can get me that logcat, I would be happy to take a look

You're the man Rob. This is not just a google pixel 3 issue. I shared that article as an example.  I also previously shared a link to the Google support site. It is a widespread android software issue that was caused by a recent update.  Mine worked flawlessly for 12 months until a mid December update.  It still doesn't work for me . If you guys would do a bit of research before bashing people just offering ideas of what could be the root of the OPs issue.  Hell, I am still trying to figure mine out.

You can be the know-it-all and fix the OP's software issue.  Over and out.

Thanks. I will have the dealer flash the most recent update when I get the oil changed next weekend. I haven't gotten an update since I bought the truck in October.

First, no one says "over and out"

Secondly, you came out of the gate as a know-it-all

I digress though, I work with mobile software clients all day.  What do I know?

Have a great day, bud
