Here, diesel is currently still cheaper than high test.

(Usually diesel is a little over/under regular)

 

I'm one of those that logs every fuel fill.

My last 6.2 got 20 - 21 mpg.

Doing the same job, hand calc mpg for my 3.0 is a little over 26.

 

DEF cost is insignificant.

(4.00$/gal / 1400miles/gal = $0.003 per mile) 

 

If we run out of diesel, putting fuel in a pickup will be the last of our worries.
