2015 suburban lt, at slow speeds when i turn i get hard steering, service park assist, service stabilitrak and truck sometimes shuts off. Dealer said battery bad. Wanted to replace told them no. Took the battery to my mechanic after me testing it and both meters show good. No open recalls on the truck. This sounds like the power steering recall right.d4b3692f01b43052ac90cff749da3487.jpgf635b414f7e603ebf2ce70b54882b85d.jpg

Heres my dilema, deal with the dealership or just trade her in. I have no loan, 59k miles and ac compressor is gone. If i get 34k for her found a 17 with 39k miles for 40k. Pay the 6k cash and be done?

Does the Suburban have the same ground at the dash as the Silverados and Sierras?  If so, you may have a grounding issue. Your symptoms mirror the G218 grounding issue. There are many youtube videos that cover the fix. Maybe this will help:

Take a look at his previous video where he discusses his symptoms.

High resistance in battery cables can cause low battery warnings service stabilitrack, etc. dealership replaced my negative cable after it tested bad. No more service stabiltrack service safety restraint system. I never had issues with power steering going out though.

Everything points to the recall. Just hate it when they cut corners and recalls can only be done through a dealer

I don't think it points to the steering recall. I think it either points to battery cables like 2018GMC mentions or the G218 ground problem like I mentioned. There is even a service bulletin on it that lists 4 causes. One of them has already been ruled out as you know the battery is good. The G218 can be ruled out by you as well if you check it.

I may be wrong but shouldn't it have been at 0 and no resistance? Did you remove the bolt and make sure that the ring is making good contact with bare metal? Also, from what I have seen, there is another identical ground on passenger side as well.

It makes positive contact and tight. By the battery there is a jumper to the distribution block that sits on top of the battery that i ohm. I need another set of hands to start the truck and check.for voltage drop. Give that to my mechanic since none of this would be covered through gm.

The one I'm talking about is a negative ground. You would check it by putting one probe on the nut and another on something metal under the dash.

Didn't do that, checked for insulation being under it and if it was tight and came loose.
