Hypertech speedometer calibrator

Has anyone installed one of these? If so was the connector wires under the dash hard to get to? I’m going up to 34” tall tires is this the best option? Thanks

Pretty much the only option unless you wanna spend $$$ on an ECM swap like HP Tuners or the 3 new entries to the market with Diablo/SuperChips/Edge.

 

Word of caution with the Hypertech inline.  If you have to have ANYTHING reprogrammed on the truck by the dealer, unplug it.

Easy to do, easy to get to, I've been running it for 2 years with zero issues.

Just reduce the amount over the speed limit that the truck is run.

One was already installed on my Tuscany ZRX edition . It seems to work perfectly.

I know this doesn’t solve the problem, but when I run Waze (probably all map apps), my actual speed is displayed.  With Apple Play and Waze, it shows my speed right on the infotainment screen.  Seems like you could use that.  Also seems like after awhile of using it, you’d get a feel for the difference between your speedometer and your actual speed and just be able to do the conversion in your head on the fly.

I just figured out the CarPlay ...... for some reason , I had it off on my phone . 
Today using waze , my speed was right on between truck and waze .

I just bought the Rough Country one as it was cheaper by 65$ and was on Amazon Prime. Should do the trick !
