I'm afraid at -20 it won't get above 100°

It will.  It gets that cold here as well. 

 

No ones trans fell out pre 2014 when there wasn't any thermostat...right? Relax brother.

My Yukon has 47500 miles on clock.  I just replaced 6Lxx fluid and filter. I also added HotShot Shift Restore.  I’ve been adding HotShot Stiction Eliminator to my oil changes.  Adding RedLine Fuel injector cleaner at every 3-4 fill up.  Let the hate begin.
