For those of you that had your truck built in Fort Wayne, how long after the truck was actually shipped and moving did it take for you to receive it? I just found out mine is on the move as of today after sitting in a lot since April, but I'm on the west coast, so curious about timing.

On mine, I got notification from GM via email that it had shipped on 5/18 and it arrived at my dealer on 5/31. I live about 9 hours away from Fort Wayne in Missouri.

You need to contact GM. You should not have paid the MSRP increases.

Who from GM do you contact? I am in a similar situation, order placed 2/10 and vehicle was built as of 6/8 but is still not in transit. I would like to know how to go about getting reimbursed directly from GM. Thanks

I have called several numbers with no luck, saying that you have to go through the dealer for them to do it.  So...if anyone has a number to call, that would be awesome!  (Especially since there were 3 total increases that increased the msrp almost $4k!!!)

Sounds like you’re getting screwed by the dealer. Have you even tried talking the dealer about it? No way I would have accepted that when buying the truck.

They are probably pocketing the MSRP refund you’re supposed to get.

You need to work this out with the dealer you’re buying from. If they are charging you the higher MSRP they are screwing you. They very well know there’s a refund available on sold orders that have had a price increase. If they don’t give that refund to you, guess who gets it.

Posted previously in this thread but figured I would follow up since I am going to pick-up my ultimate tomorrow.

Will recap the order process for me and then a quick note on the dealership I ordered through.
I put a deposit down as soon as they were open in Nov. Think it got picked up In Feb and built. Finally made it to the dealership and is ready to be picked up.

Did hit one snag as the dealer stated that they are now wanting to do a $5K market adjustment.  Which is kind of out of left field and a warning to others to make sure and get something in writing when you order.
I realize this is the dealership just taking advantage of the market and a lot of dealerships are doing the same thing.
I don't have any relationship with the dealership as I had just moved to Edmond OK at the time I put the $100 deposit down to get on the reserve list.
Really want the truck so don't have much a a choice other than to complain. Has supercruise and the 6.2 like I wanted. Just didn't see them being that crappy so close to the sale. Only thing I have is the fact that I put the deposit down and the build sheet. I don't have anything else in writing or anything that says they wouldn't do the mark up.

Bob Howard GMC is the dealership.  Just FYI to anyone looking for a new truck.

I picked up a Denali in Nashville last week.  It's not the one I ordered, which is now going to be built as a 2023.  The one I bought was ordered and the deal feel through so it was available and I had put my name on the list just in case the deal feel through.  It's the Pacific Blue Denali with the 6.2 and all options that were order are working on the truck, so I feel lucky to be able to find this.  Paid original MSRP and no dealer add on pricing.  Loving the truck so far.

I finally got word from the Sales Manager that my truck (AT4x was built but sitting in a lot waiting for chips. No expected date was provided regarding when it would ship.

My 2022 high country showed up over the weekend. Not much for options except LM2 and a bunch of little stuff. Only missing steering column lock and f/r park assist. Current MSRP was just over $68k, paid original GMS pricing of $62.3k.

ordered 3/7

accepted early to mid April sometime

built 4/25

delivered 6/25

gmauthority has an article today saying now the 3.0L LM2 diesel is on constraint and dealers will be contacting people with orders - sounds like options are either the 2.7 or 5.3 or wait until next year for the 2023 with the new LZ0 engine.  Ordered 4/4/ gm accepted order 5/5 but still no TPW so I'm guessing I am not getting a truck built this year.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do.  My dealer has some 2022 Limiteds with the 3.0L diesel.  Downside to that is it doesn't have the refreshed interior, no HD surround vision which I am kind of ambivalent about and they are lacking parking assist, rear cross traffic alert, heated steering wheel and heated/ventilated/cooled seats - to be retrofitted at some future date whenever parts become available.

I feel like the supply chain issues aren't going to get better and waiting for 2023's seems like that's no guarantee of getting a truck built either and with the way prices on everything are going up its a safe bet the 2023's will cost even more than the 2022 refresh..  At the same time if I "settle" for a 2022 limited it won't have the items noted above - I'm not confident the parts come in for the missing features anytime soon either - if ever.

I ordered Feb. 3, order got accepted May 4, finally I got an email today from GM saying my vehicle is being built. I have a 3.0L LM2 in my truck so I don't know how bad the constraint is. I suggest you don't settle. If you are paying 60 grand for a truck, it better have everything you want. I didn't wanna delete the CarbonPro package so I bit the bullet for 4 months and it's finally paying off. Just an FYI though, usually if the order is accepted, they don't make you change your options, if your order was accepted with the LM2, you shouldn't have to change unless it is on extreme constraint. It usually means they just wont pick up anymore orders with the LM2.

    • Common Sense Assembly   Your driveline is forgiving of the occasional mistake. It will even often forgive the random serious blunder. But it will not forgive a continuous bad habit.      What? Not everything needs to be a five thousand word essay.
    • We drove about 15 minute east today to visit a friend and saw a steep increase in price in the same county. About 50 cents a gallon steepper.
    • Sure about that? A degree wheel and a dial indicator would lower your degree of assurance in that statement. 😉    It why we have offset keys and dialable timing sprockets. Just say'n.... I've built a few and have never seen one "On the money".
    • I will admit I haven't experimented much with pressure drops beyond the numbers I put in and part of that is that the numbers I used are fairly low and then found out it would trigger regardless at that 35 psi. Having said that I had tried before had changed the placard pressures and being that I have a 1 ton set to 80 on the placard for the rear I believe it triggered close to 60, the front I don't recall now for sure but thought maybe it could get close to 45 from that factory 60 placard pressure. So I never did figure out if it was a number of psi from placard pressure to the alarm or a percentage of the total placard number as some figured it was like a 25% drop from placard pressure would trigger it. So as to try and answer your question, I believe I set the placard pressure on the front to 47 or so and while I run the front tires at 40, they have dipped below that some if its colder and I haven't put "winter air" in yet and never once have had the front alarm go off. I would say that the answer your looking for is no, that if you set your placard pressure to 45, you have a certain amount of room to drop below that pressure before the alarm will go off.    The pressures you decide to run in your truck, that ends up being what makes sense to you based on what your carrying in your truck or if towing, then have to bump them back up to something that will carry the load in the rear and the fronts typically left at the same pressure. It all comes down to that chart I put the link to and using an accurate roadside scale to be your guide, both unloaded and then loaded to know your minimum safe pressures.    I just wish GM would allow a person to change the readings for the tire pressures to the English system of pounds as I have to look at that goofy metric reading that will never ever jive in my head and will go over and change it just to figure out what they are if need be and then change it back.
    • That part I understand, that the dealer can do it. But I'm not understanding why updates that were available to the truck since it left the factory, or the dealership originally, would not still be available to it without dealer intervention.   I'm thinking along the lines of recalls. They stay available until they are completed, regardless of whether they are in warranty or not, or in the hands of the original owner or not. Why not updates as well, especially since some of those can be safety related also?
