Received another email today.  The truck is en route via rail and is one state away.  Called dealer and they thought it might arrive later this week, but admitted that was a guess.

Received email this morning titled "Your 2022 GMC Sierra has arrived at our distribution center".  Body says: "...now that your 2022 GMC Sierra AT4 has reached the next stage of the delivery process, it will undergo a final inspection to ensure every detail is as it should be. Keep an eye on your inbox for more updates."

I am in Houston.

Just got my order accepted by GM today. I ordered it on 2/3/22 and my dealer just called. No TPW yet. It's a 3.0L Duramax with a carbonpro bed in Titanium Rush Metallic

TPW 6/27/22

Just got an email from my dealer stating that 2022's will not be made with Super Cruise.  That was my primary reason for picking this truck vs others.  Have to do some thinking now...

Heard from my dealer that my CarbonPro AT4 has been moved to Broadcast so hopefully it will get built in the next week or two. My TPW was 5/9.

Not all 2022s with Super Cruise are getting cancelled.  It's only for for current TRE(retail stock) orders.

This was the email -

Super Cruise and Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking will not be available on certain MY22 New Chevrolet Silverado and New GMC Sierra 1500 orders until further notice.  Changes to these features are not safety related and all normal braking functions continue to operate as designed.  Please advise your sold order customers immediately and counsel directly with all customers who ordered/purchase affected vehicles to ensure each customer understands their vehicle's content.

Impacted GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate vehicles will be forced to include RPO (RGH) 'Not Equipped with Super Cruise (UKL) and Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking (UGN),' which removes Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking and applies (UHY) Automatic Emergency Braking and removes Super Cruise and applies (UHX) Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning.  Super Cruise (UKL) and Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking (UGN) will not appear on the invoice or the window label.

Model year 2022 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate will get a $2,300 MSRP credit with RPO (RGH) 'Not Equipped with Super Cruise (UKL) and Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking (UGN) and will be reflected on the invoice and window label.

I'm well aware as I received the same email along with another one because we had a High Country with UKL that was cancelled.  It was not a SRE-Retail Sold order but a TRE-Retail Stock order.

Today GMC chat said that my AT4 was produced. My initial TPW was 5/13/22 and later changed to 5/23/22. I guess it really got built this week after all

I got an email today saying my AT4 has been built and is shipping. The chat said my vehicle is in transit. I think we may actually be getting them finally.

Apologize if this was covered and I missed it. But does anyone know why the AT4x has 32" tires and the ZR2 has 33"? Seems very odd to me, and trying to understand the reasoning. I might see if I can swap the 33" 's on my current 2019 AT4. Or, get some 33" Falkens for the incoming AT4x, but wondering if there is any "real" reasons the AT4x got small feet?

I order mine at4 with 20 inch wheels and 33 inch tires

AT4x does not have the option of 20" wheels, otherwise I would have gone with the 20's.  Literally the only choice I had when ordering our AT4x was what color, and my wife insisted on white (again).

    • Hi all - my current truck is a 2022.5 1500 High Country 3.0. I bought the truck used last year. After doing some digging, I noticed that my truck's software is stuck on the original build from 2022. I have no available software updates. I talked to my dealer about this and they recommended not trying to force an update since the 36,000 mile warranty is expired. This is a big bummer since there have been many major releases since that have fixed small issues and improved speed/usability.   For reference, the current software build number is: full_gminfo37_gb-user 10 W158E-W164.4.2-QIH22B-563.3 158 release-keys Has anyone had a similar experience? Should I just forget about it and move on, or try a different dealer?
    • Sure. Buy it for me 🤣
    • Using zip ties but 2-3 they snap due to sharp edges. Just using a shoestring. Last longer. 🤣
    • I ordered the Snap On...waiting for it to come in later this week or early next week.   New front cover, new crank seal and new balancer are on. Water pump, pulley, fan, hoses, and plastics reinstalled. I can move forward knowing all my timing marks are dead on and the front engine is hopefully sealed better than it was. Take 2 with the water pump...trying high temp thread sealer on the lower bolts.   Rebuilt injector and new-new regulator is in, it looks like new. Top intake reassembled and all the bits are reconnected and snugged down.   Thinking about knock sensors again, I located both of mine and, there's your problem, Francis... The driver's side one is broke, plastic is bashed in, part of the wire is bare, and it appears to have been damaged like that for a long time. I saw the wire but didn't think anything of it. The knock sensor might not be my pulled timing issue, but it sure looks suspect. It must still be conducting, otherwise I'd expect a CEL. But perhaps with its sacred crystal inside exposed, jilted and dirty, maybe it's sending mixed signals. So I'm waiting for one of those and a new pigtail to come in. Pass side sensor looks good, except for the spark plug wire resting on it (!). The plug wires are healthy so it shouldn't be causing an issue, but I separated them and added zip ties to nearby looms to keep everything well apart.   So, I'm down to installing a knock sensor AND, oh, replacing the exhaust and cat. I actually think that's going to be fairly easy, it's all bolt-together, all new stuff from Walker is laid out on the shop floor ready to go. Hopefully have this thing on the road again for the weekend.   My luck? It will still be leaking oil, coolant, pulled timing, intermittent CEL for running rich, or it probably won't run at all -- because that's how this project has gone.   I've never worked on a vehicle so ...hurt? ...cursed? in my life. Everything has been effed with SO HARD, but I think...knock on wood...I've managed to undo all the backyard stuff and we're almost reset back to "just" an 80k mile, 30 year old Blazer.
