Does anyone have any experience putting big subs and a big amp in a new silverado?  Looking at a sundown 2 15s on a 2,000 watt amp kit. Any tips or experience?

I replied in the other thread but it is not gonna work. Not enough room for the subs to get their proper air. 2 12s is where it is at.

15"subs are definitely not going to fit without removing the seats. 8's and 10's will fit under the seat if you made a custom box and remove underseat cargo tray. I built my box with keeping storage space in mind. Shallow mount 10" subwoofer, hits low bass and loud enough to vibrate the seats and mirror.

I havnt specifically put any into these new trucks yet, but will be putting in my 8 12s in the near future if my health holds up.

Do you have any specific concerns? I have a decent amount of audio experience and mechanical knowledge.

As stated above, 15s wont be going under your seats or anything like that, so be prepared for some extensive mods to fit it and keep seats or remove seats.

Anyways, down to help ya out with some info if i can.

I built a down firing box with an IDQ10. Could easily do 2 of them. 2 full size 10's with some power should sound really good and more than enough for most. My 1 10" hits pretty hard and I only have 400 watts.
