So I haven't posted on here in about 2 years.

The first and only real issue I had with my truck came weeks after getting the truck in 2019. The lock control solenode would not click and I could not get the truck out of park...this resulted in a replaced Gear Shift Assembly. Now there seems to be a very dangerous flaw in the Auto-Stop/Start feature.

When I come to a stop in traffic / at a red light, the truck obviously will turn off. When I let off the brake, the truck will start up and slowly roll until I start to press the gas. If I start to push in the gas pedal almost half an inch to and inch with my foot off the brake after it starts back up, the vehicle immediately throws me back into my seat and rapidly accelerates. I immediately have to slam on the brakes to stop it from hitting people in front of me. This has happened probably 3-5 times in the last 3 weeks.

I have 9 months left on the lease (12k/36 months) and 19k Miles on the truck. I'm not sure if anyone has experienced this issue.

I would turn off the auto stop/start until you get things sorted out. Good luck!

Just crossed 22k miles today on my 2020.  No issue like this so far.

Edit:  Looking at the 22,500 mile service interval via the MyChevrolet app I noticed there is a requirement to check the gas peddle for operation and replace if needed.  Might be worth taking it to the dealer to have the gas peddle inspected.

Never had this happen.  Are you a 2 foot driver?

Nope.

Huh, yeah its like your pre-loading the converter... You should try bringing it up to around 2300; make sure no one is in front of you 😬
