Dropped to $2.88 for the last few days

I’m on my last trip to Fayetteville North Carolina. Surprisingly in Mississippi I paid 2.89 per gallon. Usually once I leave Texas it gets higher. With great confidence I detailed the odyssey for the trip. It was supposed to be rain free the entire trip. So it was raining when I woke up and rained the entire drive yesterday. First thing I took it to a car wash. Today we spend the day playing cards at our favorite casino and resume our trip tomorrow.

Next gas stop Atlanta area paid 3.35 per gallon. Did see 3.05 east of Atlanta.

Gas up to $3.19 this afternoon

Up 4 cents on the hiway to $3.12

24 hrs later, down to $3.07

I had 50 cents off at the Kroger gas station so I filled up for $2.99 a gal

We assigned our 4% COSTCO discount to gas purchases we can use anywhere. I use it where it is cheapest/close.

 

We had deals like Kroger at Hy-Vee and Meijer's but they price their gas her so high that after the store discount it is still a nickel or more over the station down the street.  Got rid of them both.

3.19 per gallon in Lanett Alabama. I use Kroger a lot in my area. Sometimes as much as 1$ per gallon off. I usually save that discount monthly for my gas hog, Avalanche.

I normally go to the Sam's club gas station, since they put it in a few months back. Or sometimes I get the E85 at sheetz

Gulfport Mississippi 3.03 per gallon. Will be staying at our casino home until Thursday AM. Nasty weather, darn.

$3.30 reg. 85 oct. in our small town. $2.89 - $2.97 next town, 30 miles.
