I don't know if you all have a Kroger near you but if you do get their Kroger card, it's free and you get a lot of discounts on food AND gas.  My wifes 21 Explorer is turbocharged so I have her run premium in it at all times.  She typically gets 40 cents off a gallon due to the points she accumulates from grocery shopping there.  And that's just groceries for the two of us, it's not like we spend a ton of money on food.  The points add up quickly!!  Just a tip if you didn't know about it.

That Kroger card is pretty cool.  Because it monitors your buying habits for food she gets sent all kinds of deals and discounts on what she typically buys.  I call her the queen of deals...lol...Hell, you gotta be these days!

News said price increase due to "summer formulation" and they expect the price to continue to rise until mid June, Average price in the state $3.59 according to AAA. Summer formulation, Oxygenated in the winter, you would think it would balance out

It seems to have leveled off in the $3.35 range on the hi-way, lots of $3.49 and up elsewhere, NH is higher, $3.50+ Time to use the grocery rewards for gas I guess and fill up the truck, I put $80 in last week and it didn't fill it.  The 6.0 sure runs good but drinks a lot!

I’ve been paying 2.98 to 3.39 per gallon. Not counting using my Kroger card that I usually save for the avalanche. Last was 3.06. It’s anything but leveled off.

By leveling off I mean the prices have not changed in about 2 weeks, I know that could change at any minute

I probably should have added (here). It could have a range in your area. In my area I’ve seen a 39 cent swing at a high volume gas station in just a few days. Where out of town where I live it’s like a 10 cent swing. But on the high side. During the week my 9 mile drive to my a walking park. I’ve seen as much as a 50 cents swing. If you pay cash it could be more.

Around here we have what I call the "Speedway effect"

Every Thursday the Speedway stations will raise the price at least 20 cents per gallon ahead of the Friday fill up and weekend crowds. . Come Monday it starts creeping back down until Thursday comes again and it pops back up. Of course the surrounding stations follow suit. There are a couple of stations on I-75 that are almost always 50-70 cents above the surrounding area. Apparently they figured higher profit and fewer gallons is a better business model.

I havent used Speedway since my Duramax broke down on their watered down crap fuel and they refused to reimburse me for the failure.

    • New to this forum.  Also looking to tune a 6L80 and trying to work out all the issues in my transmission swap.  I have a 6.2 diesel (1983) and have removed the TH-400 and about to put in a 6L80 with a TCM-2600 interface and don't have a clue what I doing after that.  Did you (Leatherneck/RAV3) get your slip resolved? I too hate to spend that kind of money on a tuner that hopefully I will not need too many times although from what steelerdude15 added about the HP Tuner being great for diagnostics would be a plus.  I am also from WNC but below you in Columbus.  Any helo would be greatly appreciated.
