$2.99 most places. 1 place $2.89.

 

Based on overall pricing, I think we're do another price drop

Worked at a full service gas station in high school with 2 bays for repairs. Mechanical pumps, cheap oil in cardboard quarts and mostly cash sales. Gas rarely went over 30 cents a gallon for regular.

Today the same gas station I paid 3.06 is now 3.19. Next the stock market will crash. Otherwise all is just peachy.

We were in Alex city Alabama last weekend.  I saw 2 places that had it for 2.99 but most were 3.09.  Here in the Atlanta metro area it is all over the place.  Anywhere from 3.29 to 3.49.  Our camping trip towing our TT to Maine from Atlanta this coming August is going to hurt a bit.  It's usually a 3k to 3300 miles round trip getting around 9mpg.....ouch...lol...

Last year on our trip to Maine towing our TT through PA, it was the highest at 3.99 a gallon, and their roads were the worst I've driven on in a long time.  Even Maine roads were better and they are nothing to brag about.  WTH??

The infrastructure here in the North-east is crumbling after years of neglect.Massachusetts roads and bridges are falling apart. They closed a drawbridge around the corner from my shop 2 years ago cuz they were afraid it was gonna fall in the river. 2027 to put a temporary bridge in and 2035 for a permanent replacement. I have friends in the marine construction business, they said they could do a temporary in 6 months but the bureaucratic red tape prevents it

local cheap place $3.19 yesterday, everything else around $3.40 and up I saw 1 place on the way to Boston $4.49, gouge gouge

      Here's the second UOA on my 22 Wrangler with the Ecodiesel. This has 5k miles on AMSOIL Signature Series DEO 5w-40. The first one was dealer installed oil, no clue what it was, the second is what AMSOIL recommended, European FS 5w-40, Most of the Ecodiesel world is showing great results using the European MS 5w-40, I figured I would see how the DEO works. This is using an Ecoguard oil filter. It's my understanding this engine likes to shed aluminum.  We will see. So far I don't think this is too bad.

      I'm surprised nobody seems to offer a solution like the start/stop device I put in my new truck. Remembers my setting when shutdown. And while it still starts up in start/stop, it stores/evaluates what mode it was in when shut down and will change it whithin a second or 2 of startup. It'd be nice to have something like that for the DRLs.

      2015 Sierra 1500 here. Leaks from the sunroof to front driver side and soaks carpet. How do I fix this? Thanks!

      I will be doing that for sure, but I need to solve who has/ where I can find a bidirectional scan tool that will support OBD 1.5. I'm kicking myself because I ebay'ed a Snap On MT2500 that I didn't think I'd ever need anymore. D'oh!! I'd rather not buy another, so I'll contact a few local shops to see if they have one and how much they'd want to do the procedure. I'd rather have the ability to do it myself... I wish there was a modern tool that could do it all, but I'd have no idea what to buy.   The theory with the pulled timing is that it mimics a rich condition. The delayed spark causes incomplete burn and the O2 sensor picks up low oxygen levels. That's interpreted as a rich condition so the PCM pulls fuel and that shows up in the deeply negative fuel trims.
